Teaching Notes on Piano Exam Pieces 2021 & 2022, ABRSM Grades In-8

Does not cover full repertoire
I was rather disappointed to find that ABRSM have only provided the teaching notes for the nine main pieces in each grade . It has always given notes on the alternative repertoire in the past which has been very helpful.

Incomplete - buyer beware!
There are only teaching notes for each grade on 9 out of the possible 30 pieces! There are no teaching notes on any of the alternative pieces not in the Grade books. This is very poor; a complete change too from previous editions on previous syllabuses. A bad move by ABRSM. Buyer beware!

Extremely disappointing.
Really disappointed in ABRSM for only covering the 9 pieces in the Exam Pieces book per grade, with none of the alternative pieces covered as they usually are. The cover and description on the cover remain the same as in previous years however, so no way of knowing! Half the size, less than half the content and roughly same price. I'm considering returning.

These Teaching Notes are concise, but genuinely useful.
As an experienced pianist and piano teacher, I can obviously make my own assessments of all set works within the various grades. I nevertheless find it useful and valuable to hear from the syllabus setters and examiners who operate the system, and for that reason, I do value their concise notes on matters historical, technical and stylistic. For these reasons I always invest in “Teaching Notes on Piano Exam Pieces “.

Doesn’t contain all pieces
It no longer contains notes for all the pieces, just the ones in the exam book. Very disappointed and yet another reason to move away from ABRSM exams....
