I’m beginner to intermediate level at pottery and this wheel is awesome. I had taken a few classes at my local rec center prior to purchasing this and I was frustrated when my schedule wasn’t lining up and I couldn’t continue my pottery without spending a fortune on a wheel or quitting another commitment. I love this wheel. The phrase “you get what you pay for” is not totally inaccurate…It can be a little bit shaky compared to the expensive pottery wheels at my rec center and I know it wouldn’t hold up if you were planning on throwing giant pieces. Clearly not made for professional level work. For me, mostly throwing coffee mugs and such, it works beautifully!! I have so much fun with this! The variety of speeds are great and I can do everything I wanted to on it!

This wheel works fine. My only comment is that the pedal is stiff and difficult to control the speed. Also, there are no pins or options for pins for use with other bats.

I put mine on top of 6 inch bed risers. It's the prefect height for my stool now. I've made countless pieces on it. For the price, it's unbeatable! Does leak water from the pan if you let the level get too high (I use this at school either students who love water), so it is worth investing in a small pan that can sit underneath it. Just incase of spills.

This unit provides a steady rotation of the wheel without any vibrations felt. The pedal is also easy to use without the need for constant application of pressure. Believe what really separates this unit from the rest of the competitions is their excellent Customer Service. They tried really hard in ensuring full satisfaction of their customers.
