OXO Steel POP Container Big Short Sqaure - 2.8 Qt for Cereal, Grains and More Grey

I actually really love this canister, but it arrived without any padding around the canister and was damaged. I recommend it, though just wish Amazon would ship it in better packaging.

I bought two of these one for myself one for my grandfather and they are excellent for holding coffee and coffee beans however I would recommend ordering it directly from the oxo site, because the second one I ordered I had to essentially order three times to get it the first time the seal didn't work the second time they didn't send a lid and I was told I had to refund the entire transaction and place the order again in order to get it so that time I just went directly through their website and I got a container that is an even better fit than the first one I got and it works amazingly. 10/10 recommend this product and oxo's support team

I bought one of these containers so I could keep my dogs food on the counter, without it being an eyesore. Also bought the scoop that attaches to the inner lid. Not only is it super subtle on the counter, but it keeps the food fresh and makes it so easy with the scoop! I’m a sucker for my pup and my love language is food, so this certainly makes not over feeding my pup a heck of a lot easier. I’ve actually now found other things around the house that this makes life easier for, so I’ve been purchasing about one container and scoop a month. The steel lid does hold dirty finger prints pretty well, so you’ll need to wipe it down once in awhile, but other than that, love the this product. Comes apart super easy to clean. ALSO super great for oxyclean - eliminates need for stupid scoops that come in the container.

I absolutely LOVE Oxo Pop containers … I’m slowly amassing a collection. The first of these coffee keepers with steel lid arrived flawed - one side had obvious polishing swirl marks and there were other flaws, including on the lid. I initiated a return and there was an option for replacement for replacement. ToAmazon’s credit they sent a replacement without requiring a return AND credited me the purchase price. So far, great service!The replacement arrived the next day and … it too had flaws. I had thought the first container was a return that someone had messed with, but now I think that Amazon is selling seconds as NEW product. Of course I can’t prove that, but I will inform Oxo of my experience.So, I’ve kept both containers as I usually keep two different varietals of beans at any given time. Both units are fully functional, so *that* is good. I’ll just hide the flaws on the countertop and have two for the price of none.

Space saving is a plus with these! I guess keeping food fresh I don’t know most of mine might be expired LOL . These have a very modern look and are easy to use with a quick pop up feature when you’re cooking and don’t have the time to unscrew stuff for flour or sugar, just pop it off. Love these!

I purchased several sizes of these pop top containers specifically for the ease of use when opening and closing them for my mom who has arthritic like pain in her hands and fingers. The smaller sizes are fantastic. The larger sizes are also great but too heavy to lift with sore hands. They were easy to return in exchange for more smaller sizes. We found that the rectangular shape was easier to store in the refrigerator. So I transferred yogurt( lid and foil), ready made soup ( lid and plastic seal) etc into these containers so that she wouldn’t need to struggle with store bought containers and could access food as needed.

UPDATE:After MANY emails and ridiculous hassles, Oxo finally sent me a replacement container. This was a customer service disaster. Lots of emails and phone calls, just for a cheap, defective small container. Total waste of my time. Initially Oxo refused to help and said I need to contact Amazon, who, of course told me I had to contact Oxo. Love it when companies pass the buck. Amazon again told me I had to call Oxo, so I wrote them back and told them in very clear terms exactly how much this sucked. Only after a strongly worded email did agree to honor their warranty and send me a replacement--but first I had to write all over the outside of the defective container and on the lid with sharpie stating "Do not warranty" and send them multiple pictures of it. Yes, really. All of this hassle for a warranty claim Oxo initially refused to honor - for a cheap $19 container. Absurd.I am done with Oxo. Their customer service is terrible. I have had four of these containers, two of which have been defective. That's a 50% failure rate. I did finally receive a replacement for this little one a month after initiating the process, but going forward, my expectations for Oxo products and customer support will be low. I will probably not buy any more Oxo stuff. And yes, I realize America's Test Kitchen highly recommends LOTS of oxo products, clearly enjoying the fruits of a healthy affiliate relationship. Unfortunately, there is only one Oxo product in my home which I like at this point, the 12-inch nonstick skillet ATK recommends. That's a great skillet. Of course if I ever have any problems with it I'm sure I will be out of luck. Future kitchen purchases will not include Oxo brand products.Conclusion: Oxo products are inexpensive and cheaply made. You get what you pay for.---Original Review---Ordered the 1.1Qt Stainless Pop container to keep corn starch in. No sign of damage, but unit appears to be defective. The top will not stay sealed. The button will not stay down when pressed, and is therefore unable to seal the container. Very disappointed. Best of all, Amazon asked me to contact OXO, which I tried to do, but I am on the west coast, and OXO is on the east, and keeps east-coast customer service hours only, and closes at 5EST, which is 2PST. Thanks Oxo. This means I have to call them during the workday only. I tried twice. No luck. Finally sent them an email through the contact us form on the OXO website. It has been a few days and I am yet to receive any response. I sent a follow-up note today. If I ever hear back, I'll update this review.It should be noted this is not the first time I have had this exact same issue with these containers. I previously had the Stainless 4.4 Qt for flour, and after a few months the same problem started happening - it will not lock closed. I called Amazon about that issue and the return window had closed, so I was out of luck. This time I am contacting OXO directly. I did not do so the first time, but I should have - my fault, I just tossed that first one. Wish me luck this time. :(

I got this to put sugar in. I love how cool it looks. This is just enough to hold a 4 or 5 lb. bag of sugar. I like the airtight feature with the lid. Not only is it stylish, but it's very functional, easy to use and practical. I should've gotten a 2nd one of these, just because it looks really nice. Definitely one of the reasons why I'm a big fan of the OXO kitchen products. More times than not, they truly get it right. This is no exception!

Looks great and works as expected. I wish it was larger. The lid is not as tight as it should be when sealed.
