Our Harmonica Connector Box is a 50-pin style connectors to 12 RJ11 jacks. It has a hold-down strap to eliminate screw tightening but also includes 2 holes for mounting to a wall or panel. Just What I Needed to Add Extensions Using Existing Wiring
Our offices still have 25-pair cabling that terminate in a male "blue-ribbon" connector. This "harmonica" acts like a big breakout box with 12 jacks, each with two pair. We needed to add two more extensions to our trusty Avaya Partner system in one office with only one of those cables. Each Partner phone set requires two pairs (one tip and ring phone line and other the data line). Thanks to the pin-out diagram included, it was easy to add two additional phone sets without running extra wiring or cutting the blue-ribbon connector off and installing a punch block in the office. It even included double-sided foam tape to affix the "harmonica" to the wall below the surface mount box of the original installation. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape.
