I feel misled about this, I thought it was an alarm, it only has chimes, I am returning it and am cancelling the rest of the order.

Works good, BUT once triggered it does not automatically reset after it no longer senses motion.Unfortunately when I got it, I only presented some motion and it triggered promptly and then turned it off without waiting, however in the hotel room I realized it does not shut off. Too late to return it. GregH

We LOVE the Doberman Security version. It is loud and sounds immediately after the beam is broken. This one is not loud and has a delay before sounding. We threw it away.

If you are looking for a simple easy to use extremely **loud** motion alarm this is perfect! It is sensitive to detect motion and works flawlessly. My only critique is how very very loud the alarm is, there needs to be a volume control option. We purchased it with the intent for alarming us to when our son gets out of bed at night. The alarm was just too overpowering and frightening so the unit was returned.

This product is pretty cheaply made! The batteries don't last very long in it. Instead of using the sticky tape to attach to a wall, I just place the unit up against a wall or furniture and angle it straight forward. BEWARE: The alarm can be 'pretty scary' when it goes off on the person who sets it off!!!
