Legacy Decor 4 Panel Black Bamboo Print Asian Privacy Shoji Screen Room Divider

Because of the pandemic, I'm working from home most days of the week (still have to go into the office occasionally for mail and forms, etc.). It was originally supposed to be for a few weeks but ... Anyway, we're about to have our first video conference and my living room/work-from-home location is a hot mess. So I thought the quickest and easiest solution to hide the clutter - a room divider. I needed something "classy" but cheap. This room divider fit the bill perfectly. I must say, its much better quality than I expected and little heavier and sturdier than expected. I have no fear of it falling down or being too "see through" with the lighting. I've already tested how I will use it - placing it directly behind me as I sit at the dinning room table for the video call - and it looks perfect! It provides a nice neutral background while completely hiding all the clutter on the other side of it. I don't even look like I'm in my apartment! Highly recommended. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and usefulness of this room divider no matter which size you get and its very affordable.

Very good craftsmanship and quality. I separated the panels and use two together for doors that cover a 36" shelving unit to which I attached bamboo to the side for accent. Also, I use the other two for a bathroom screen. By code i needed an opening of 31.5" inches so this lightweight door gives easy access and if only one person staying in the unit a door is pretty much unnecessary anyway so it looks good and is a useful multipurpose screen. Also, rather than put a blind on the side door window which gets in the way and has to be dusted all the time I just move the two panel hinged screen at night to cover the door window and give privacy during evening hours. Looks nice in my Buddhist "temple" even as an accent. The frame is sturdy enough that I was able to mount different hinges to the shelving unit and drill holes which hold the panels as doors. I attached a door knob and a magnet as a catch. Smooth operation and holds a lot of clothes etc. You can't buy a piece of furniture for the price of that combination and it has a great asian look. The panels have held up to daily use for 3 years now. Oh, I did put a coat of water based polyurethane on the black wood frame of the panel I use and move around as either a window shade or bathroom screen because the original black paint would scuff the white trim, and now that solved the problem. See last photo shows a simple sturdy brass hinge used to replace the two way hinges that were original which were a bit wobbly and loose for my needs. Just predrilled screw holes in frame for the hinge to prevent cracking.

I read all the reviews of all the different screens out there and was wary of receiving a damaged product.The box it came in WAS damaged and my first thought's were... great here comes a complicated return process, but the screen was protected by a thin layer of Styrofoam that prevented the box punctures (all the way through the cardboard) form damaging the product. I may have gotten lucky, but the Styrofoam did it's job.The product itself; It's lightweight... very lightweight... very... But I've yet to knock it over when I bump into it... all the time.It looks great. I was not expecting a hand painted work of art here... I was expecting screen printing of a nice design and that is exactly what it is. If you want hand painting... hire an artist or something because at this price level your expectations are way too high.The material is cloth-like. if your not careful... opps... you can put your fingers through it trying to pick it up without holding the frame carefully. Easily fixed and nobody (not even my wife) knows it ever happened.For me it does it's job, makes my living area look nicer and friends and family like that look as well.If I ever need a another one, or manage to break this one so bad I cannot repair it, I'll definitely buy another.

These are perfect for my needs. I meet people in my little apartment for spiritual direction and I needed to cordon off a small area right by my front door but I didn't want to block out the light from the other room. I bought two of these screens and they stretch perfectly across the width of my living room and also blocks off the hallway. I love that they are lightweight so i can fold them back up and carry them easily to my back room and store them up against the wall. The decoration is beautiful and peaceful and the screen leaves plenty of light get through to my little area. Great price, great product. But these are lightweight, so you do have to handle them with care. I wish they came with stands for the bottom because I'm always having to fold them just right so they remain stable. So far, I've managed that very well! Highly recommend.

I purchased this screen to hide a storage closet in the kitchen of my sister's one bedroom apartment. This screen is beautiful and it just made me smile when removing it from packaging. It also does a fantastic job of shielding this closet., the 4 panels look like they were custom made for this issue. 2 doors in the front and one on each side and that closet is completely hidden. Plus the design is spot on for her decore so A Big Thank You to Legacy Door :)

Overall still happy with it. I was lucky in that mine arrived without any damage as others have reported.Mine sits in a high traffic area, gets folded/unfolded several times a week, and occasionally knocked over by the family pets. Even after falling over completely and hitting the hardwood floor multiple times its still completely intact so I'm VERY happy about that. There has been some 'lint'/feathering of the screen material that has probably been caused by the occasional friction of a pet walking by it that is of minor cosmetic annoyance but overall I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.
