Great kit that solved my speaker problems
I inherited two Boston Acoustics A150 speakers from a neighbor who didn't want to deal with them. Was hoping there was a easy fix otherwise I too would have handed them off.If you know speakers, these BA A150's are fairly large floor speakers from the 80's. Originally they sold for around $2k as I'm told and are highly regarded as very good sounding speakers. They include a 10" woofer that needed re-foaming. I ordered this kit and when it came spent the morning doing this project. As with all surface repair projects, much of the work is in preparation of the area. The actual gluing is simple, the prep work takes a little time and patience to make sure your job lasts over the years to come.Once done, these speakers sound as good as new. I have cranked them up and experience zero fuzz sounds so I'm satisfied. The only negative is the kit itself probably costs about $2 in parts. Might be able to create somewhat the same fix using a high quality foam if you have some spare sitting around. The shape of these foam edges does help create a spring like buffer to allow the woofers to move about their business.

Not as easy as they want you to believe
I'm sure you could get this product to do what it is supposed to do if you had enough experience. Unfortunately, trying it for the first time was a fail. The instructions given for centering were not nearly sufficient to ensure you end up with a good result. Maybe some speakers have enough tolerance to make it easier, but not the one I was working with. I ended up just buying replacements.

Excellent easy to install repair.
I used this kit to replace the foam surround that had disintegrated on my Boston Acoustics A100s that I bought in 1985.The hardest part was the preparation which involved removing the old glue and foam with a utility knife, q-tips and isopropyl alcohol. Gluing was the easiest part and I did it in two steps; first gluing the foam to the speaker cone and after letting it dry for an hour gluing the other edge of the foam to the speaker frame.I recommend this youtube video showing the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvBALpUaTYk

Easy repair excellent quality
Awesome. Got a set of Boston A100s for free but were completely blown. I'd say 25 dollars for two good sounding speakers is a good deal. Very easy repair. Be careful with the glue, it comes out very fast.
