Line Size
Check the line size you plan to use before ordering. I didn’t which was totally my fault and needed to order the 500 to accommodate the .130 line I use. I’ll use the 400 on another trimmer or pass it on to a friend/family. Works great and easy to load

Will not work on Shindaiwa 22f.
Review for Shindaiwa Speed-Feed 400 for String Trimmer Head / Part # 78890-30000BWith the parts supplied this does not work on the 22f. The 22f needs right handed thread and this comes with two different sizes but both are left handed thread.Hope this saves you buying and then needing to return it.

Works Great
The Speed Feed 400 is a great tool for the Shindaiwa/Echo line of trimmers. I loaded my speed feed with .095 and .105 line and it worked great. The .105 line is a little tighter fit when it comes to loading string and sometimes feeding but it works!

Very good head but need a better option for for bulk purchase. They don't last long, so a six pack at a value price is needed.
