works great so far 2/20/1712/8/17 updateafter 8 months of very little use ....failure.....has broken wire connection at the light fixture, just like the one this piece of crap replaced. You would think for the price, they could design something betterFor warranty you have to not only ship back to Oregon.. for $7.50 USPS flat rate, but they also want $5.00 for their handling and shipping back... Bought my last Coast light!!!!!!

On/Off button sticking after only 3 months. Item only used indoors in clean conditions. No reason for this. Also, previous identical item had a wire connection to the battery pack that failed after only less than a year (i protected wire on current item with an elastic hair band - strapped to battery pack). Lifetime Warranty WILL BE honored but takes about a month + after return so be patient! I masy have to return my current item due to bad button...

I have used Coast headlights for years. They fit on my hard hat and the tubular design of their lights accommodates wearing goggles above the light. The light sits between the goggle nose space. Very few brands can accomplish this feat. My only gripe about this model is you have to double click to turn the light off b/c of a high and low beam. I am an electrician and headlamps are a necessity for close up and dark work.

These lamps are great. I love them. They are light weight and the LEDs give great light. They are more comfortable than any other headlight I've used. The batteries last a long time. I particularly like them because the battery case is carried on the back of the harness. Other's headlamps continually work my cap bill down in front of my eyes as I walk because the weight of both the lamp housing and the batteries are both at the front of the harness above my forehead. Coast's lamps are engineered to avoid that problem by balancing the unit's weight between the front and to back. Hence the unit doesn't make my cap creep forward on my head. The lamp can also be attached to hard hats with provided clips. What a great idea, Coast! Thanks.

Wish it didn’t have a high and low setting. Now every time I need my light on or off I have to mash through the buttons until it’s off.

Great light, good adjustment options, comfortable fit. Highly recommended.

Bought as a gift as I own a different coast headlamp. This thing is bright and awesome! Perfect when I received it!
