Fixed the problem
Our washing machine would stop working right before the spin cycle. It would drain then just stop. After some YouTube-ing, it seemed like this component was the problem. It arrived next day and took about 5 minutes to install. Our machine works just fine now. Good stuff.

Not an OEM part and shoddy craftsmanship
You could tell it's cheaply made as soon as you look at it. Installed it into the washer and the shifter motor got so hot that you could not touch it. It managed to shift once or twice and then just gave up. Had to be careful removing it because it was so hot to the touch. Ordered the OEM version and had no issues. Buyer Beware.

Washing machine draining & working again
So grateful our washing machine is working again!...prior to replacing this part our Whirlpool Cabrio would leave clothes sopping wet because it would just stop mid-cycle instead of transitioning to the final "Drain & Spin" cycle. I especially appreciated the post-install calibration instruction that came with the part (see attached pic).

Faulty motor
I bought this part because the optical sensor in my previous shift actuator went bad, so it couldn’t sense the basket speed. After replacing it with this part it now wouldn’t shift between spin and agitate modes. I individually tested each component and discovered that the motor was not working, so I requested a replacement.I received the replacement a couple days later and same issue. I ended up getting impatient and swapped out the motor with the original and then it worked. So I guess like 80% of the part is good.

Had to modify the plug to fit
Had to modify the plug to get in. I didn't feel confident that this was correct but needed to get my washer going. The plug was not keyed the same but pins lined up.
