This is what makes good literature, a hundred years later
I first read this book's Spanish translation at age seven in my native Cuba. It made such an impression on me that over a half a century later I can still recite excerpts of it. As I read this, I have decided to buy two additional copies to include in my Christmas presents for my grandchildren. This is what makes good literature, a hundred years later, it moves the reader as if it had been written yesterday. If you have children or grandchildren 7-13 you ought to buy this book for them, but read it first, it will transport you to a beautiful place in a boy's childhood.

Small print
Small print. Don't let the large number of pages fool you. A lot of white space per page and small print

Highly emotional!
This is a beautiful book with lovely passages of positive teaching for life. Every story is really well told and full of highly emotional moments.

Small print
I love the story; however, I wish the print would be little more bigger. It is odd that they didn’t do that since the top and bottom margin are 2 inches and the side of the page is 1”.
