I had purchased one of these previously and it was beautiful. Had a great glossy finished that was thick and beautiful. This was was rough, the wound was rough to the touch, a corner has taken a beating in the mail and a piece was sticking up. Since the wedding I purchased it for was very close, I bought a can of polyurethane spray and sprayed the crap out of it to make it glossy and presentable. Was not impressed.

I bought this as a wedding gift for my brother and am speechless at how beautiful it is. I really thought that since the estimated delivery date was only a few days from ordering that it would just be a piece of wood with printed lament to look like wood with writing on it. WRONG, it's actually beautifully stained wood. It came in just a few days and the quality exceeded all my expectations! It is slightly smaller than I expected, but I'll definitely be ordering one for myself now.

I bought this as a wedding gift. It came with the hooks unattached, which was fine, but I had to add glue to make them stay in place after inserting. The engraving is lower than shown in the picture and the hooks did block the view somewhat. But overall it was a great value and I would buy again for another wedding if needed.

I bought this for my nephew and his bride, and they loved it. Well done for what I paid. Looks nice. My nephew said "I thought you said you didnt spend much". So it looks like it would cost a little more than what I actually spent on it.

I bought this for my bff with 2 dogs for Christmas it is beautiful!I haven't installed the hooks since it needs to be mailed .I showed it to my step-daughter who loved it and is going to buy one for someone on her list. She never saw anything like it for personalized 4 legged buddies.Great workmanship, great gift for a couple that has everything

What they show as examples is not what you get. What I expected was a nice wood with cut or stamped lettering. What I got was a piece of pressboard with a faded picture pasted to it.
