Dramatic reduction in sound transmission through my home-office door
Product is AS DESCRIBED and worked like a champ for me. It has sufficiently "sound-proofed" my home-office so that the sounds of television or even our small dog barking is only a faint/muffled sound in my office while I am taking conference calls, etc. I utilized Loctite Power Grab to glue the panels directly to the wood surface of the door. Note - I also utilized some leftover wedges and affixed it to the underside of the door as well, to have no air-gap below the door for sound to travel under our tile floor. While it was a bit pricy to purchase enough panels/wedges to cover my entire double-door (2'X8' - times two doors)... it was dramatically less expensive than actually purchasing a custom soundproof door (readily available on the market) which was going to run $4000-7000. Very happy with the outcome. And I think it looks decently handsome from inside my office as well.NOTE: I gave them zero stars for adhesion. Not sure why this is even listed as a requested element since there IS NO self-adhesive surface. I'd recommend simply removing it as a feature requiring a rating.NOTE: Loctite Power Grab Express All-Purpose Construction Adhesive (available here -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005M21YQK/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_FR6TDb9EFYQM7)

Great for Practice Studio
I converted a medium-sized closet (8'x9') into a practice studio for my alto sax. The closet has a lot of dry wall and hard surfaces. The Mybecca acoustic foam tiles really helped deaden the room. I used heavy-duty double-sided tape to stick them on the walls. There are more expensive acoustic tiles on the market, but these tiles did the job for me. Now, my spouse only complains about the quality of my music, not the volume.

Acoustic foam panels
When installed correctly these panels perform well, although "soundproofing" is not what these are for. Acoustic panels absorb sound reflections to prevent interference with the incident waves, so you will still be able to hear sound outside of the room when these are installed, it will just sound better inside the room. These are cheap and identical across the batch, probably not as dense as other more expensive brands. Also they are not perfectly square 12"x12"; the vertical length is about 1.5" longer than the horizontal, referring to the direction of the fins.

Met my expectations
It pretty much met all of my expectations for the product. I knew these weren't going to be insanely soundproofing or anything like that, but they do the job for me. No real complaints.Pros:- I cut some of them in half and they were pretty easy to work with- Met my expectations for build, sound performance, and aestheticsCons:- Pretty hard to get them to stick to anything (I ended up using spray adhesive but even that isn't perfect)

Nice and worth the price.
I have only had these up for a week and I purchased 24 of them for my office to stop some of the noise. I do recording for video tutorials, and I am going to order more to make a sound box for my desk. I wasn't expecting them to stop all of it but it has made a difference. I mounted mine on a 1/4 inch piece of particle board and then hung it on the wall like a picture. I didn't want to mount them directly to the wall. They are doing exactly what I wanted them to do.

Great for knife collection displays.
I bought these panels to use for displaying pocket knives that I have for sale. They work perfectly in several respects: the v-shape holds the knives at a convenient angle for viewing in the display case, the black color provides a nice neutral background for all color knives and great blade contrast, the black foam won’t discolor from UV light like white foam would, and the 1” thickness still leaves clearance to the folding top of my display case.

Top-notch quality
They work exactly like a sound dampening panel is supposed to. Invariable in size and shape throughout; I could cover the Great Wall of China with these and still be perfectly lined up when I got to the end. I got a bunch of these and they have improved the acoustics of my studio significantly. They're also light enough that you don't need duct tape to hold them up, just get some double-sided wall stickies like I did.

These are pretty nice and will do the job well
These are pretty nice and will do the job well. It's the lowest price I found four such a thickness and they arrive rather fast. Still... It is foam. I know it's in a funky shape but I hope the industry kicks back the crazy pricing just because it's for audio..... IT'S FOAM. There's probably 3 cents worth of material here.
