Generally speaking yes, most end users could expect to buy them in pairs. You may have the option of buying a 1000BASE-SX Network Interface Card at one end - assuming there is sufficient power available - don't look for a USB version, but rather PCI, GBIC, etc.

Looks like no SFP to me. Other variations DO use SFP. Looks like ok with Sonore?

Q: Would I be able to.change it.from..duplex.to.auto negotiate too

No settings for FDX or auto...you don't need them
