String doesn't last long
Cute bird feeder but the string that holds the top and bottom together rots and breaks fairly quickly!

The color and structure is great. We enjoy the neat shape and the birds come visit it!

Cute and functional
Easy to fill and sturdy. I put a small dowel rod thru the bottom part to serve as a perch, birds love it. Great purchase.

Small holes
Would probably be ok for sunflower seeds but holes are too small for shelled peanuts. I returned it.

Charming for Garden or Gift
I own one of these that I purchased elsewhere and have loved it. It’s very charming in my yard and the tree clinging birds seem to really like it. Unfortunately the squirrels like it too and have chewed a couple of holes in the mesh “nut”. I don’t considered that a “con” for this item knowing all the other more durable things on my property the squirrels have gnawed on. I’ve been able to reshape the chewed edges back into the original shape. I purchased 2 from this listing - one for my front yard and one as a back up - because I like them so much. They are easy to fill although sometimes need a little wiggling to fit the nut into the cap properly. My original feeder was dark brown and I thought these would be more of a regular brown based on the photos but I would definitely call these caps orange. No problem - got out my spray paint, taped off the cable and they are “oil rubbed bronze” now!

Birds dont care for it
I put sunflower seed in this. The birds don’t seem to care for the feeder. Guessing it’s hard to get the seeds out. It’s cute though

Birds love it
The feeder holds enough peanuts, and is shaped in such a way, that several birds can feed from it at the same time. A joy to watch, and with a pretty forest theme.
