UPDATE:I originally gave this cover 5 stars at about the 2 month mark, but since then this cover has turned into complete trash. Had this cover for 6 months now and the outside has holes in the ‘waterproofing’ and the inside gets soaked at the slightest downpour. Save your money and find something more robust.Original review:Bought this for an electric jack on a 28’, 7700 lb aspen trail travel trailer. The cover is 3 times the size I need it to be, but it gives me plenty of space to cover the wiring connector end as well. Cinches down nicely and so far has kept my jack dry and out of the elements. Once cinched down, I take the slack from the drawstring and wrap it around the bottom as extra protection. So far this has survived all of the crappy weather we’ve had this year.

IN ORDER TO USE THE POWER JACK YOU NEED TO HAVE A BATTERY BOX WITH A BATTERY ON THE FRONT OF YOUR TRAILER OR RUN A WIRE ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT OF YOUR BATTERY ON YOUR TRUCK. THIS DOESN'T JUST PLUG INTO YOUR TRUCK AND HAVE POWER TO LOWER OR RAISE.. LIFTS A 12,000 LB CARGO TRAILER WITH EASE! TWO THINGS YOU NEED BESIDES A BATTERY!! ON THE JACK ITSELF WHERE YOU CAN MANUALLY LOWER/RAISE THE JACK THE PLUG IS CHEAP WITH A RUBBER SEAL.. IT WILL FALL OFF ON YOU WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD IF NOT ON TIGHT.. PROBLEM IS IF YOU PUT IT TIGHT IT BREAKS THE LITTLE RUBBER SEAL.. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE BAG THAT GOES OVER THIS SYSTEM OR WATER CAN GET DOWN INTO THE ELECTRICALS OF THIS JACK AND THEN BE NO GOOD.. ALWAYS TRAVEL AND PUT COVER BAG OVER UNIT WHEN PULLING OR SITTING ALL THE TIME.. ONLY TAKE BAG OFF WHEN YOU NEED TO USE THE JACK...

This is my second purchase of this product in almost 2 years, only because I lost my first one because I left it on front of the trailer unattached. The durability during that time was excellent and it remained water proof and protected my lift flawlessly. I would recommend this product, just don’t forget to put it away during your trip or reinstall it with the tie secured.

On my 1st long trip with my new Jayco White Hawk, I forgot to lock the cover on the Auto Leveling control box. Well...several miles later I stopped for gas and thought something looked funny. The lid was gone. I got on amazon and started looking for replacement covers. I came across this one and took a shot.It fits quite snug, but looks great. I think it is made for electric jacks, but it fits just fine on the controller for the BAL auto leveling option on my 2017 Jayco White Hawk.

In addition to protecting the RV trailer jack, I tuck the umbilical cord inside to keep it dry and rust free. A quick shot and spread of Armour-All (or such) keeps it looking good. The cinch tie is easy to use. The stitching and material are strong.

Our storage neighbor had this cover installed and we realized the importance of protecting the power tongue jack so we ordered one as well. This cover fit perfectly and protects the tongue jack from sun damage. Highly recommended. If you get a chance stroll about a campground and observe the condition of other tongue jacks, you will quickly recognize those that use a cover and those that don't.

This is a replacement for another cover. Comparing the 2, my original is thicker and feels sturdier. I got 3 years of 365/24/7 use from it. I would have kept it a bit longer if my wife wasn't bugging about it looking worn and getting a bit tattered. If this replacement can do the same; I will be a devoted customer.

EDIT: ON YEAR LATER. Still on very good condition.We have been using this for a year now. Originally bought to keep curious people/kids from seeing buttons for power jack and pressing on them. An unforeseen benefit was that we can tuck the 7-way electrical connector up inside of the bag before cinching it down to keep it nice, clean, corrosion free. Would definitely recommend to a friend and buy again if ours was lost.
