Osprey Talon 22 Men's Hiking Pack

Have to say I am a fan of Osprey bags and Backpacks in general and have used them for travelling for last 12 years with no issues, travelling globally. This Tallon22 I got for cycling and day to day walking with dog and hill trekking, it is great, right size for day hike, you can add a hydration bladder, and there are plenty of pockets and hidden pockets for storing all your bits, i particularly like the front pockets on the hip belt, so here are my bug bears, though not enough to drop the rating. The price is high, though the materials are good, there is no laptop or tablet sleeve, and the back ventilation is not going to stop you from having a sweaty back if your walking more than 3km : )

Ideal bag for a long day or weekend out. Plenty of storage and fit options adjusts easily and spreads weight well. Great bag

Perfect for short hikes

I know this is pricey but it's worth every penny. I couldn't go back to any other day packs now.I had put off getting an osprey but as I do a lot of camping and hiking, I often find my back hurting and sweaty but I eventually splashed out and went for this day pack (best decision I've ever made).The difference is just night and day and I don't regret the buy at all.

Nice bag should have bought the bigger one

My second Osprey and much smaller for day pack. Really like this, wasnt disapointed and very comfy over my 4 hour walk. Non osprey bladder a bit fiddly to get in but got there. Ample room for jacket, snacks etc. Highly recommend.

Everything meets my need

Great day pack, well thought out design, very comfortable straps and air vent for back works well.
