Worked Well For *Costume*
The CAPEZIO MEN'S FOOTED TIGHTS worked nicely for my Halloween costume. I went as "Bobbi" the transvestite in Brian De Palma's movie Dressed to Kill [Blu-ray] and I really didn't want to wear panty hose because I thought it would be cold outside and I didn't want to shave my legs, so I opted for these tights.I bought the X-Large, which was just right. I'm 5'-9", muscular, and weigh about 190lbs, and so I could have gotten the large, which is listed on the back for my height, but Amazon was sold out of the Large for Prime shipping, so I went with X-Large. It's a good thing I did, too.These are tights and so they're tight, LOL, so the little extra I room I got from the XL was just right. They worked really well, not only keeping my legs warm -- though we weren't outside too long -- and are opaque so my leg hairs didn't show through. The picture is pretty accurate. Also, they're pretty heavy duty so you don't have to worry too much about tearing or getting a run in the tights like you do with regular pantyhose.The tights have a seam in the back, so care must be taken when putting them on so that your seams aren't crooked. One easy way to tell is that on the front of the tights, there's a small fabric line, I thought it was a run but it's not, that runs from the toe up to the thigh. It's very vague, you'll hardly notice it unless you're really looking, but this line corresponds with the seam in the back so you'll know if your seam is straight when you put on the tights.Another thing is that there aren't any instructions on how to put on the tights. Dancers will probably already know this but for the average guy: You can't just put them on like pants. You have to roll them down to the foot part, put your foot in and begin unrolling back up your leg; when you get to about mid-calf to knee, you do the same with the other foot, and unroll until the tights are even and then you can unroll at once until you reach the top.I would also advice wearing a thong under the tights. Since they are tight, underwear will be uncomfortable or you could probably go commando, too, but I'll leave that up to you.

Bigger thighs/bottom --> Size Up
Originally orders XS since thats what my shorter stature fell on the sizechart on the back of the box (which is different than the photo listed). I went on Capezio's actual website to confirm sizing. I have bigger legs, hips, and a fuller butt than most males, but XS was just too tight everywhere, and too short lengthwise. I exchanged for size S and it fits fine. They feel like thicker women's tights, but not quite like opaque leggings. They are a tiny bit sheer, but not sheer enough to cause emotional trauma to an audience. Can do splits fine. Also they leave you a bit cold if you aren't moving around since they dont keep in heat well. I will be keeping these because they were on sale and I paid only $21... other tights I would prefer like WearMoi or BodyWrappers start at $40.

Works
Works great as long underwear in cold weather, durable and long lasting.

Matte & Mediocre, But Inexpensive
TL;DR: The mattest, blackest matte black tights I've ever owned. Less uncomfortable than some, but not as comfortable as classic M Stevens or BDT tights (is anything?). Bit of a weird crepey texture. Also, the sizing runs more like normal American men's clothing sizes. Meh/10; inexpensive and worth owning as backup tights or for the rare occasion on which even slightly shiny tights are verboten.The Long Version:First up, it's cool that Amazon has added height/weight dimensions to its reviewing system, but since those stats only offer a general picture, I'm going to add a few more. Build makes a difference!A lot of guys my height & weight will have bigger upper bodies and MUCH smaller legs than I do, so here are some additional dimensions.My waist clocks in at 30", hip/butt at 37" (my glutei medii are ridiculously hypertrophic), and my thighs at like 23". Each.At my usual performing weight, you can subtract 2" from all of those, but I somehow seem to have been stuck at home with no AD to make me do a thousand reps of grand allegro, nowhere to do grand allegro in the first place, AND unlimited access to homemade bread for several months. You do the math.Also, a lot of guys my height have shorter legs than mine. My inseam is approximately 32". My husband's is 29", and these would be too long on him. They're almost too long on me.Anyway!I don't love these tights, but I don't hate them either. They're (relatively) inexpensive, completely opaque, and although they're not exactly the epitome of comfort as men's ballet tights go, they're acceptable.They're also as matte and black as matte black tights can be—like black holes for your legs. Only without the crushing and inescapable gravitational field, of course.No light reflects off of these tights, so if you're trying to create the effect of being a floating torso, these and a black backdrop will get you most of the way there.I ordered a larger size than I normally would because I was feeling paranoid about gaining a few pounds and worried that these would be too thin.They're not, and I should've just ordered my normal size. They're a bit too large even now, and at my normal performing weight they'll be rather more so.Particularly if your legs have more normal dimensions, order your usual size. If you're a German track cyclist, however, you might need to size up?Since I only plan to use them as emergency back-up tights, I'll keep them.PS: I've also worn the white version (provided by my company's costumer), and they're similarly matte, opaque, and tolerable. The pair I wore was also probably like 10 years old, which speaks well of their durability.

XL fits skinny 6’2 teen
My daughter is 6’2 and normal black tights are too short. These fit great. I was afraid the XLs would be too wide but not true. Not opaque. Has seam down back side of leg.

The closest fit out there
They are tights and fit like tights. Order one to 3 sizes up depending on your build. If you don't skip leg day then 3 sizes up. Even though 3xl 5ft7 181lb they still become see through in the thighs due to stretching. But 2 months and no tears
