Using these for my cheese rolls and been great!

I used this product for hot dog buns. Easy to use but very small for hot dog buns.

I was skeptical at first, but the proof is in the pudding, ur, buns!Some things you should know:1) The 12 bun unit I bought fits nicely on a normal cookie sheet.2) I used the burger/dog bun dough recipe from King Arthur Flour website. This mold accommodated a very wet dough and allowed for max rise time - both needed for fluffy dog buns.3) My sloppy use of egg wash makes clean up more difficult; I soak in scant detergent and use the sink sprayer - viola!4) The best results are from my convection oven - use 'em if you got 'em!5) Corn meal will "sift" through the holes - I squish the bun dough into corn meal prior to placing in the flexible mold. Corn meal stays in place.5) This mold makes short buns, so use short fat dogs - Hebrew National are a great choice. Dude - lower carb buns are a good thing!I am learning many new skills as a house husband - this dog bun mold is my newest killer baking app !

Love it! Fits perfectly on our sheet pans. I used a hot dog bun recipe that used 3 and 3/4 cups of flour and divided the dough into 12 equal parts for this mold. The resulting buns were more short and squat than store bought buns, probably an inch shorter. I’d love to get the 6.5” version model but I’m not sure why it’s more than double the cost. Oh well, this one works but I’ll probably use less dough next time I used 2.8 oz per mold. I’ll try 2.4 next time.As far as clean up...a couple tiny pieces of bread stuck to the sides when I pulled them out of the pan but they peeled off easily later.Edited to add new photo of my second attempt with 2.4 oz of dough per bun. These were perfect!

I must be too picky! It stinks, and it is very flimsy in quality. I received it and donated it as soon as it arrived. Made in China, also.

I love this! Makes hot dog buns and sub rolls. It cooks my bread in half the time and is so easy to clean. I just pop it onto the top rack of my dishwasher.
