Great mufflers, and an amazing price. I put a pair of these on a 1951 Mercury Pickup with a SBC. Sound is great, and quality stainless steel construction. Not the loudest muffler out there, but not the quietest either. A solid middle-ground with some grumble when installed on a V8.

Stainless Steel, but only -6- year limited warranty to be verified by muffler shop or equivalent installer, then registered with MagnaFlow - keep your paperwork. NOT lifetime warranty as indicated on Amazon. Not for show cars, perfect for the other 99% of us that actually drive our cars to go places and do things. Solid feel, heavy muffler, great for the free-flow improvements wanted over stock exhaust (unless yours is factory tuned like those in high-end vehicles). Look at length of body when choosing as longer body length in an otherwise same-size muffler, provides more dampening on exhaust noise. Great muffler I put it on my 2001 5.3 Silverado with gutted catalytic converter and it's not to loud when cruising but when you get on the gas it sounds great

I bought this muffler from Amazon at a big discount, $30 off the original discounted price for applying for an Amazon Visa card, and free shipping. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the muffler is a pleasant surprise. It is reversible front to rear, which makes installation easier. It is substantially built with smooth welds. Quite easy to install on my 1996 Dodge Dakota. Another pleasant surprise is the sound quality. It can be heard when cruising at highway speeds, but is not objectionable, and when accelerating or idling, it has a deeper tone that I like.

The pictures showed no weld marks on muffler ….I did not expect or want weld marks on mufflers …..went to return and they expect me to return it on my dime ….it’s a heavy item and will almost cost 1/2 the purchase price
