The inside of the knitting spool is very rough, and snags the yarn, making it almost impossible to use. The yarn should fall smoothly through. it looks like they did not sand the interior at all. Useless. In addition, the tool provided to lift the yarn over the pegs is too blunt to fit under the yarn. Also useless.

but the needle is too thick to work with the yarn. I purchased these for my daughters and their friends to use and create fun knitting projects and it's hard for me to use, let alone their little hands. We needed to purchase a thinner needle in order to work with it. Super cute otherwise, but not the best design as far as practicality goes.

Very good item. The only complaint would be that the inside needed to have been sanded more, it was very rough and snagged the yarn unintentionally.

It’s very cute and the main piece serves its purpose nicely. The needle is too thick to be used with it though! I had to use a crochet to help me use it.

The inside is super rough & splintery. The paint job is cute but as I started it (for my granddaughter) I realized it was almost impossible to use. NOTE: I had one as a kid and whipped thru it- no problems. I thought the problem could be the needle & switched to my hook - no luck. Not suitable for kids.
