This is an absolute lifesaver if you work on a computer/keyboard/mouse for hours on end!
I work at my desk, keyboarding and mousing for many hours most days. I almost always had a painful knot in what I call my 'mousing/typing muscle' -- the part of the upper shoulder that cramps up, radiating into your neck, arm, back, until you want to jump up and Honest-to-Pete, YEET your keyboard with heartfelt passion into the trash, but you're too sore to do so... if you're looking for one of these, you probably know all too well what I mean. The longer you keep at your desk work, the more you really begin to know firsthand how many muscles, tendons, and other stuff are in your upper torso, and not in a good way. So that's why the smaller microwaveable neck warmers never really cut it for me, as much as they provide relief for small areas. After I got back to doing a lot of desk work several months ago, I was immediately reminded of this issue, so I spent some time searching for a neck and shoulder warmer that would cover all the parts that hurt. I also didn't want an electric heat wrap and have to deal with cords, etc. So after carefully reading through the reviews on the ones that were available, I chose this, picking out the gray one. (I like the blue, but it doesn't coordinate w most of my wardrobe. Super important while sitting at my desk in leggings and t-shirt, but still! This goes with everything. Just a matter of taste.)I carefully warmed it in my nukulator (microwave) for only 3 minutes - although I was tempted to go for longer. One or two reviews had noted that if you microwave it too long, it can melt portions of the fabric and ruin it. So I have been very cautious with this. Three minutes seems perfectly safe. I squish it into sort of a ball and put it directly on the microwave plate, and it comes out warm enough. If I am really hurting and want it a little warmer, I take it out, shake it around a bit to more evenly distribute the beads inside, and warm it a little more for maybe 30-45 seconds while watching closely. Usually 3 minutes does the trick just fine. I can get up from my desk, plop the thing in the nuke, hit the button, go back and work for 3 minutes, and just get it back out, repeating all day as needed.Since it's a large wrap, with a lot of beads inside, it does need periodic gentle shaking around to keep the beads evenly distributed. Not difficult at all, and expected. The moment I put this on, the relief is incredible. And after a lot of use, it really does seem that keeping those muscles warm all day greatly decreases or omits the muscle spasms that can occur with long hours of desk work. I used to have increasingly bad soreness and muscle spasms during the course of the week, but not since I got this and use it regularly.Obviously, it doesn't reach your lower back, but it definitely does reach all the crucial upper body areas that get the most sore from desk work.I can't recommend this highly enough! It arrived nicely packaged, with good instructions, and I could see that it was very well made. It really works. I found that the scent was mild to begin with and lessened with some use, but that's my preference anyway. It holds heat for a good amount of time and covers a very impressive area, hitting all the points that get the sorest. I absolutely love this wrap and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Best product ever! Your whole body will feel better almost instantly
It's hard to put into words just how amazing this Large Microwavable Heating Pad for Neck and Shoulders has changed my life. As someone who struggles with constant neck and upper back pain, I have tried countless products to alleviate my discomfort. However, nothing has compared to this amazing heating pad. It's weighted just right, not too heavy and not too light. It provides constant pressure massage to sore areas. The velvety material is incredibly soft and comfortable, and the heavenly scent is so relaxing that it immediately puts me at ease. When I heat it up in the microwave, the scent becomes even stronger and more comforting. What I love most about this heating pad is the clay balls that hold heat longer than rice or seeds. As someone who has used rice-filled heating pads in the past, I can attest that the clay balls make a huge difference. The heat is distributed evenly and lasts much longer, allowing me to wear the heating pad for hours at a time. One thing that impressed me was how well-made this product is. I can tell that it was crafted with care and attention to detail, and the fact that it comes with clear instructions for use shows that the company truly cares about its customers.Overall, I would highly recommend this heating pad to anyone who suffers from neck and upper back pain, stress, or anxiety. It has truly been a game-changer for me and has made my daily life so much more comfortable. I cannot imagine going back to a standard rice-filled heating pad after experiencing the comfort and relief that this product provides.

Works well
I love to use this when I get an achy, stiff, or sore neck. I can feel the muscles relax as they absorb the warmth. It also helps with stiff muscles in the upper back and shoulder areas. Love the scent, too - not overpowering but pleasant. Easy to use. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the warmth doesn't last as long as I'd like, only good for 30 to 45 minutes. But generally speaking, a very nice product.

Amazing well made with excellent features.
About 6 weeks ago, I began to expeirience numbness (paresthesia) and pain in my arms and hands at night when I tried to sleep. I have a traditional neck wrap that one heats in the microwave. It immediately, reduced the numbness and pain. However, as I slept the wrap would fall down my back even though I sleep on my back.I search for a better designed neck wrap. I ordered this product. Clearly, it was carefully designed and made. It is soft and comfortable. The wrap covers my neck and shoulders. It also dips to cover my back upper shoulder area. The wrap is soft and molds to your body surface. A clever added feature is a clip in the front that keeps the wrap together and thus it stays in place. There are 3 options for how tight you want the wrap. It is important that you follow the instructions in heating it in the microwave. Apparantly, overheating can be problematic to the product. This product has dramatically eliminated my pain in neck and shoulders at night. The neck and shoulders are prime locations for stress related symptoms. Thus, even if one does not have problems sleeping, this product is really stress-reducing at any time during the day. I used it yesterday afternoon after working on my computer for 5 hours.Lynda C. Reliable comfort for patient with TMJ and Migraines
For years I used homemade rice socks in the microwave to provide warm moist heat for my jaw and neck pain. I have had TMJ /TMD pain for 20 years, and had surgery for it. More recently I began getting migraines, which effected my head and also triggered the TMJ/TMD and left me feeling miserable. While the rice sock worked great for my jaw, it was harder to get the same soothing heat for shoulders and between my shoulder blades.I started looking for something to help with my neck and shoulder pain, and I found this heating pad. I was drawn to it because it seemed like it would reach down to the shoulder blade area more than other heating pads. I saw other options that didn't have the clip in the front, and I read how they fell off. When I wear this I am able to walk around the house and not worry about the heating pad falling off. (My only caveat about the clip is that the heating pad is a little heavy and the weight goes towards the back, so occasionally the clip pulls against the front of my neck and I have to adjust the weight of the heating pad to make it more comfortable.)With migraines, strong scents can be bothersome, and I was a little worried about the scent of the heating pad. It's very light and natural though (not at all artificial), and I enjoy it.I follow the instructions carefully and put it on a clean plate in the microwave for the time recommended in the packaging (for the strength of my microwave that is 2 minutes and 30 seconds). The heat lasts longer than the rice sock, and wears off gradually. When I don't need it I drape it over a chair for a while to make sure any moisture inside has a chance to dry off, and then I keep it in a drawer.I recommend this product to anyone with chronic neck and shoulder pain and stiffness.
