I converted to fluorocarbon leaders about 15 years ago. My favorite fluorocarbon leader is the Yozuri pink for a few reasons. First red is the first color to disappear in the water column so it is the least likely color to remain visible. Decades before fluorocarbon hit the fishing tackle market I had been using pink Ande monofilament for my goto line for the same reason. Now between the refractive index of fluorocarbon being nearly identical to that of water making it all but invisible once immersed and adding the pink tint further reduces its visibility in water.I have been fishing for nearly 50 years, I have made my living for 15 of those years as a commercial fisherman, a yacht captain for Sportfishing anglers, and competed in dozens of fishing tournaments for everything from 4 pound test inside the harbor to offshore billfishing and tuna tournaments alongside some of the best anglers and captains on the west coast.I put fluorocarbon leaders on all of my outfits. I also rig all of my jigs, lures, rubber, iron, flat fall, knife jigs, trolling feathers, marlin rigs, etc. With fluorocarbon leaders prerigged in my tackle boxes and bags so that I can just grab the one I want and time it on and I am ready to go.Truly I believe in yozuri pink fluorocarbon leaders and I use them exclusively. I have literally dozens of trophy catches and a handful of tournament win, place, and show results that I can partially attribute to the extra edge I have gained by using the closest thing to invisible leaders as possible. This is often the main difference between going home skunked and bagging the jackpot on the days when the fish are line shy in my experience.
