Great lessons!
I've been through a lot of these "how to draw books". This one actually taught me a few things I did not know before.

A useful idea factory for intermediate artists.
Ordered this book for my teenage artist daughter. She says it is a useful book and that the instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. She also said that a single step in the instructions can take her a long time. For instance, she showed me her version of step two of the still-life example and said, “That took me an hour.” (It was a solid representation...but she won’t let me take a picture. ☹) I suspect this book will serve as an idea factory more than a textbook she’ll rigorously through. It presents a variety of artistic subjects and styles and so should be a good reference for those times she wants to try something new or get a hint on how to draw a certain way. I’d characterize her as an intermediate artist. Beginning artists would doubtless find this text more of a challenge. All in all, a nicely presented and organized art book. I recommend it.
