Great replacement to stop random alarm on Landrover LR3
Easy DIY project if you have a random alarm going off on your Landrover when you lock your doors. NOTE: the release cable does have slack when you install the replacement, as some lesser reviews have indicated. The slack is taken up when the hood latch is closed and the hood release works perfectly. Test it yourself by closing the latch while the hood is up by using a screw driver to force the latch closed, then release the latch with the hood release inside the vehicle. It works! Safety tip: take care when removing your front grill, I snapped off a couple of tabs that hold the grill in place.

Worth every penny, super easy install.
Worked amazingly! It took me all but 5 mins to switch this out for the old one. I had an issue with my range rovers car alarm randomly going off and this fixed it completely.

Fit as advertised!
It fit my 2006 Range Rover Sport as advertised. There is one item people should be aware of when installing. The hood latch cable is attached to the housing of the sensor and will have to be detached. It will then need to be installed into the new part.

This was *not* fun to install on my own, but YouTube is a lifesaver.Bought this piece, traded it out for the old one, and it works! The alarm hasn't gone is once.

Perfect fit for my 2008 LR2
Works great. But I could not install myself because the entire front bumper has to be removed on the LR2. Solved the annoying "alarm going off in the middle of the night" issue.
