Good quality, good alternative to the official one

I had the original GoPro Shorty and it failed after only a couple of weeks as there wasn't enough friction to keep the tripod extended when the GoPro was mounted. I sent it back and ordered this one instead.This is clearly a copy of the GoPro Shorty but has a design tweak that makes it better. This tripod has a rubberised grip, whereas the Shorty is smooth plastic. Having the rubberised grip makes a big difference when filming - no chance of losing grip of the tripod! Recommended!

Bought this based on the positive reviews I had read but the item delivered was a real disappointment. Very plasticky and cheap feel. Not something you'd want to attach your expensive action cam to.

This tripod is fairly simple and basic. First impressions were that it looked quite cheap plastic.It attached easily to my camera and remained stable and secure whilst I was using it.Overall I would say, don't be put off by the cheap look of it. The tripod works well and is sturdy. Time will tell on how long it lasts.

Basic tripod that doesn't disappoint and is ideal for blogging and live streaming as it does its job without fuss and provides a sturdy base to film from. My GoPro loves it and I do too thanks ro its no-fuss compatibility and performance overall.It's just a simple thing that performs flawlessly and I'm more than happy to recommend it.All the best
