Once I figured out how to open...
It's a nice set. For anyone else who experiences this: the black plastic thing under the silver button to open the case must be REMOVED first. Attractive, sturdy, cuts well. Recommend.

my husband LOVES it
I bought this for my husband (boyfriend at the time) for Christmas since I noticed he was always cleaning his nails and hands since he works a manual labor job and to this day this is his most used possession. He absolutely loves it and I am just glad that he uses it as much as he does and that the quality of the items in it are good, nothing has broken yet. (knock on wood)

It's damn nice,I bought the pink one for my gf. When I received item didn't realize itd be so heavy. It's good durable material they use.

Nice manicure set!
Love it. Well made, everything is sturdy and works as it should. Great value for the price. Case is nice and it is helpful to have everything in one place. I like this manicure set. It is comparable to items I have paid way more for. I have no complaints and would buy again!
