Excellent paw balm
No odour. Easy to apply. It is a little sticky and stays on the paw pad. I put it on at bedtime as it is likely to leave paw prints on the floor. My little dog licks it a little but, then doesn't bother with it. It is also USDA rated so no problems if he ingests a little. Great product.

Too expensive
I bought this product which arrived delayed. However i didn't find this as good product for what it costs. Smell is very weird and bad. Product is very tough to rub on my dog’s paw. I would not recommend this product to purchase after my experience

The smell....
I bought this for my pup who licks and chews on his paws out of anxiety. We are working on correcting the behavior, and it has calmed quite a bit, but unfortunately he still does it. It leaves his paws (not the pads) bright red and inflamed. I had been using a different brand before this one, and comparing the two as far as efficiency goes, they both work like a charm. The Bodhi Dog brand is VERY thick like a pomade, whereas my last brand was more like an oilier thick Vaseline type consistency. The difference for me is the smell. The other one I used had a scent comparable to that of Carmex for human lip care, whereas this one from Bodhi Dog has (to me) an unpleasant smell. I'm going to be completely frank here, as an ex smoker, all I can smell when I use this stuff is like a water ashtray. Like stale cigarette ashes or something. Idk. It probably sounds insane to people reading this, but I can not think of anything else to compare it to.I bought the 4oz jar, so it will last us quite some time. I am going to put a small amount into a smaller container and add some essential oils to it in hopes of making the scent more bearable for myself. It doesn't avert my dog one bit though. He still tries licking it off of himself so I suppose it tastes nice?! Lol I'm not willing to go THAT far to confirm though. The overall review however is based on how well the product performs, and that it DOES. After like 4-5 applications his paws are already looking less irritated. I'm hoping he will just stop chewing on himself but after 3 years of dealing with and addressing his anxiety, I highly doubt it.The loss of one star for me is obviously because of my aversion to the scent.

Didn't see a difference
As a concerned pet owner, I was eager to try the SDA Certified Organic Paw or Nose Balm for Dogs, hoping it would provide the natural soothing and healing my furry friend's dry and cracking paws and nose needed. However, my experience with this product has left me disappointed and questioning its effectiveness. The balm is marketed as a certified organic solution, which gave me confidence in its potential to address my dog's discomfort. Unfortunately, after using it consistently for a reasonable period, I didn't see any noticeable improvement in my dog's paw and nose condition. The dryness and cracking persisted, leaving me uncertain about the efficacy of the product. One of the main factors that made me choose this balm was its natural composition. I appreciate the importance of using safe and non-toxic products on my pet. However, despite the organic claims, the balm's lack of effectiveness overshadows its natural ingredients. The product's formulation might indeed be gentle, but its inability to deliver the expected results raises concerns about its overall quality.Additionally, the application process itself posed challenges. The balm's texture is quite firm, making it difficult to apply evenly and smoothly. It required more effort and time to massage the balm onto my dog's paws and nose, which wasn't the most pleasant experience for my pet or me. Moreover, the balm didn't seem to absorb well, leaving a somewhat greasy residue that my dog often tried to lick off.The packaging claims that the balm is designed to soothe and heal dry and cracking paws and nose, yet it didn't seem to address these issues effectively. While I understand that results can vary based on individual cases, my personal experience leads me to question the product's overall effectiveness and reliability. In terms of value for money, the SDA Certified Organic Paw or Nose Balm for Dogs falls short. The lack of significant improvement in my dog's condition, coupled with the challenges in application, make it hard for me to recommend this product. If you're seeking a solution for your pet's dry and cracking paws and nose, it might be worthwhile to explore alternative options with more robust track records of success and positive user reviews.

Helped my pups paws heal quickly!
I absolutely love this paw balm! My great dane is a wild boy and slides across the carpet. Between the carpet burns, playing outside, and the winter...his paws were rough. After the first application, I noticed a HUGE difference. He paws looked gray and cracked before and now are smooth and black. I could also tell where I had missed spots after putting the balm on his paws. The difference was amazing. After a few more applications, his paws are on the mend! It is easy to spread, smells good, and made my hands super soft too! I will definitely buy again and recommend!
