***Original review at bottom***I originally gave this 1 star because the lights couldn't be synced with Alexa. However, with being busy, I never got the bulbs returned. I just used the Smart Life app to control the bulbs which were in our master bedroom. Low and behold, I pulled the app up one evening several weeks later and noticed a message along the lines of "Connected to Alexa." I asked Alexa to turn on the lights, and it worked! So, assuming this stays fixed, here's my new review:The variety of colors for the lights is impressive. The bulbs get quite bright and there are simply an enormous number of settings. A unique feature of these lights compared to other smart lights I have is that they remember their last setting. If they were purple with 10% brightness when you turned them off, they'll be purple with 10% brightness when you turn them back on. Other lights I have will always turn on to full white. I'm on the fence if this is a good thing, but so far I kind of like it.***Original review***Bought these for our bedroom based on some good product reviews, but I should have checked the reviews for the smartphone app! At present (July 26, 2021), the Smart Life app does NOT work with Alexa. PERIOD. When trying to enable the skill, the process simply errors out. There are several bad reviews for the app for this very reason. If there's not a new release for the app in the next couple of days, these bulbs are being returned.

Let me first tell you why I am writing this review. I used to be too tired after I come home from work and I often used to sleep while using phone at night. Midnight I realized, I slept off without turning lights off, so I had to get up turn it off. While doing so, my sleep used to get disturbed almost every second day. About a month ago, I was searching a solution for that and got to know that such light exists which can be controlled by phone completely. I have attached picture, so you can see the user interface of the app. Good thing is that now I do not have that disturbed sleep and just by a click, it will turn off.Well I know it served the purpose, but I like the extra add-on that it comes with. I can change the light color and intensity, love it. Also, love the fact that these bulbs support Alexa. Using it since a month, would buy some for my girlfriend's house as well.

These paired very quickly. I was fortunate to not have to split my Wi-Fi to get these to pair. Once paired I was able to play with them and rename them in the app. I then flipped over to the Alexa app to add them. Followed the steps to add the Smart Life skill, then went to add the bulbs but they were automatically added! I’m enjoying these a lot. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because when I asked for purple lighting 3 of them went purple and one flickered between purple and blue. Haven’t had it reoccur yet but also have tried again recently. But for the price I can’t really complain. Normal white light works great.Update 12/27/21: These still work great! I have noticed that sometimes I’ll ask Alexa to turn them off and only 2 go off. I repeat the command and one is left on still. So I flip the switch to reset them and they work properly again. This could also be an issue with the Wi-Fi (when I opened the app the one bulb was disconnected) and not the bulb. But for the price these are perfect.

Buyer beware... Out of four bulbs:1- DOA1- lasted 6 months and lost connection, then started to flash randomly and turn on and off when it wanted. Reconnection fixed for a few hours at a time.1- lasted 13 months, now blinks like a dying incandescent bulb1- still workingNot worth the $30 something.

Worked great at first. Some issues with one bulb either not going or not going off out of the 4 we have in our ceiling fan, but that's to be expected really. Cool options for colors, generally responsive.One day a couple of weeks ago (only about 10 months after purchase), they all 4 just stopped working simultaneously and we can't get them to turn back on. What a bummer.

I really like how these lights are voice activated and you can automate them with different settings that make it completely hands free. The amount of different options and colors you have make your lights completely customizable. I just got a new apartment and I love using them during night as I watch my favorite shows. They’re very easy to install and they’re worth the amount of money you spend on them compared to other smart bulbs that are overpriced. I highly recommend.

These were a great price for installing into my ceiling fan lights. I love that they work so easily with my Amazon Alexa and nothing is nicer than having that futuristic voice control over your home. I literally can hop into bed and with but a word have all my lights go out. Their color range is great too. Easily a great buy especially if your just starting out with upgrading your lights at home before you jump into spending a bunch on Philips Hue or something like that.
