They have insoles that are held in place in one spot by some glue. The insole ca be removed.

Q: It says the platform of the boot is 0.75 inches, but it looks like the heel is taller than that. What part of the boot is the platform?

The full platform is that. They are flat boots.

Q: what size would these boots need to be baught at if I wear a guy size 10.5 ? And where can I find it?

You usually go 2 sizes up, I returned these. They were made in China and the quality was lacking.

Q: Are the Amherst boot waterproof?

Not sure. But we did ride n the rain and it kept my feet pretty dry. So I would probably say yes. At the very least water resistant for sure.
