iJDMTOY Xenon White 15-SMD High Power 9005 HB3 Replacement Bulb For Daylight DRL Kitw/Decoder, Wirings Compatible With ILX TSX MDX TL RL Accord Civic CR-V CR-Z, etc

I bought these to replace the sickly yellow high beam bulbs which function as DRL (Daytime Running Lights). The kit comes complete with resistors and a wiring harness, which is a good value for the price. I know when the high beams are used as DRLs, only 50% power is sent to the bulbs, which results in a dull, sickly yellow light when regular halogen bulbs are used. Now, I don't use my high beams at night so it is not a problem using LEDs, however, I did at least expect that these LEDs would be as bright as the halogens when used as DRLs. To my disappointment, these LEDs are very dim and barely even noticeable. I noticed on the iJDMTOY actual website, they have bulbs that are far brighter with more powerful LEDs, but the ones sold here on Amazon, only have 15 SMD LEDs, hence the reason for the brightness being very low.Likes:Good value - comes well packaged and complete with resistors and wiring harness to eliminate any error.These bulbs flicker, but not noticeable to the naked eye. You can see the flicker if you are taking videos or pictures.Nice white light with a hint of blueDislikesBarely noticeable in the daytime, which makes them nearly useless as DRLs - they are ok when you are up close. As can be seen by the picture I uploaded, the LEDs are adequate when seen from inside my garage. But in the daylight, they are barely noticeable. Even though the halogens the replaced were a dull, sickly yellow, at least they could be seen. With these, one can hardly tell if they are even on at all in the daytime.I will be replacing these with a brighter LED bulb from another brand, but will keep the resistors and wiring harness in place.

i have 2017 subaru wrx sti , its a direct fit just remove and replace the light bulbs .i did not use the harness provided , it looked ugly and i dont think my car needed it , so far everythings been smooth . my DRLs are always running during the day as long as my headlights are off. so this is a perfect upgrade for me , pros: the DRL went from nasty yellow to a very clean white that perfectly matches the color of the stock low beams. very nice job there once again for the price . cons: your high beams will become useless as night , this upgrade is only cosmetic , meaning it ll look great but will not have any actual benefit towards your visibility.

Not the easiest job to do on a 2010 Lexus IS250AWD base but also not the most complicated, because there's so much you need to remove before you even get to the housing for the bulb. If you're considering this for your car, you're going to need a phillips screwdriver, a regular flathead screwdriver, and a 10mm ratchet wrench with an extender arm.Even with the pieces needed to get to the bulb on the driver's side (front right), you're still working with limited space to get the bulb out and the new one in. The passenger side (front left) is a little bit easier since you need to remove the air filter. You just pop off the old bulb, connect the included decoder to the wire connector on your car, then connect the bulb to the other end of the decoder. The bulb then goes in just like the original EXCEPT the bulb cover that protects the back of the bulb will no longer fit because of the decoder. Took me about an hour to take the old ones out and put everything back together with the new LED bulbs, which I don't think it too bad for my first time working under the hood of my car.They significant improve the look of my car. The old 'Sylvania' bulbs looked like they were about to burn out anyways and give off a yellow-ish hue. LEDs are so much brighter, crisp, clean color, and last so much longer.

The lights are fine but I had issues with error codes even with the kit, the challenge is I bought these before and they where MUCH brighter on high beam, these add no additional light for high beam. I really wish they still sold the other pair!

4 stars because the wiring is great even though there wasn't instructions. The bulbs should just be used a fog lights really. They are trash. Get yourself a non polarity specific quality 9005 bulb and you got a great setup ( I only say polarity specific because in my vehicle application the positive/ negative for the DRL is opposite of the high beam(03 is300 lexus).

Works great, easy install on GS350. No more yellow daytime running lights. Only complaint is there is a slight flicker not noticeable unless you really pay attention.

Works as promised!! Install was fairly simple, hardest part was hiding the wiring harness. Tons of compliments on aesthetics, and would definitely buy again!

Easy to install and brightness

Worst experience on amazon ever. The light did not work with DRL as specified. Had to pay to return the item and only get 50% refund.
