Cowboy boots should initially be tight, then be broken in as you wear them a few hours a day for the first few days. That is my experience with these boots. The length was perfect, but they were tight across my foot. I wore them several days for short times and they have stretched. Yesterday I wore them from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. I wanted them off by then, but know that they will stretch a little more to be perfect. These look great and feel very durable. I hope to wear them for years to come.
