The right angle connector is awesome. However only one of the three that I bought gets close to the speed of my old cat5 patch cables. I spent an hour testing, switching cables back-and-forth. My old cables give me 450 to 500 meg download. One of these cables gets me 300 to 350 download. The other two get 90 to 95 meg download. These are going back and I will return to my other supplier.

I wish I had seen these before purchasing the Monoprice Micro-Slimrun. both have 3 mm thick cables, both sticks out 1/2" from the back, but with the Micro-Slimrun, you are bending the cable from its natural position. The CableCreation feels a tad stiffer but not by much, maybe tighter twists? I didn't open it up to find out nor ran any performance test. I will buy these if thin and angled is what you are looking for. Thin patch cords are OK, I just wouldn't use thin on say 30+ foot runs. I also would be careful using thin for POE.MEASUREMENT: at the cusp of ordering another, I ran iPerf3 and got the same numbers as my existing, normal thickness CAT6 cabling, 940 mbits.

I bought this based on the right angle head, which is really a necessity for home hard wired devices, and the slim cable size. I was initially skeptical that such a slim cable would work as well as "heavy duty" ethernet cabling, but informal testing on my Google Mesh shows exactly the same Internet data speed.It's obviously designed to be used in a home setting, so I don't know why it only comes in black. Wish they made it in white, gray, and beige!

My laptop barely fits in a drawer in my little media center. I needed a tight angle downward to connect the Ethernet. Unfortunately, most of these cord providers do not display detailed measurement specs. Thankfully, this cord gives a very tight angle and worked perfectly.

The wires are tiny - crazy how advanced cables have come. I run gigabit with no issues. This also looks super clean. I wish they had White ones :)
