Was super easy to install, just had to take a little extra time due to the spring. This is a sturdy door handle when installed properly and has a very smooth locking mechanism.Pros: easy 15 minute install, smooth gliding locking mechanismCons: spring can be tricky to install the way you need it, needs two people for easiest install, can be done with one person though.

Terrible build quality..... Mine came incomplete on one set of missing screws, that were really cheep, the other set stripped out and both didn't fit to the specifications they provided for the door. Its really poor quality die cast metal that looks pretty flimsy and I ended up frankenstining my door handles that were broken previously together to create some janky complete sets of handles that are functional. Wouldn't do this again. I'd return them but I no longer care. Oh well, buy something better. I'll probably just replace the sliders I put them on at some point with something a little more modern and from people who can make functional door hardware for them.

The handle is nice but as any handle on a patio door the stress from the weight of the door eventually weakens the part of the handle that is cast eventually breaking it. It's nice to know you can get one of these handles for little cost.

Used this to put an outside handle on my 5x8 1970's sliding glass double door under a covered patio. Fit perfectly in the same holes as the "fingertip" handle that was there, looks 100x better and works great. Shallow enough to not interfere with the screen door. Great purchase.
