LOVE THEM!!! (From a mom)
Got it for a recital where I wanted a natural leg color. Read many reviews. This one worked great, even though it is deeper than a natural tone for a fair person, the glistening gave a natural look. If you try to do something that is really accurate to a fair complexion, it will end up looking like a fake mannequin leg. I am ordering another pair (this pair did last) but convertible this time. Hopefully, it comes in a convertible.Just updating, this tight wasn't available in a convertible tight. I didn't think it was. So, I decided to look for a convertible tight that looks natural for classes, not necessarily a recital. The Capezio's are not overly shiny, but that's the effect we are going for. She wore them as a black cat. Okay, the black leg looked horrible, so we decided to go with a more natural look, which worked out perfectly. It shows off tone, etc. Ballet pink tights just didn't make it with the black cat. It depends on your skin tone. If you go for a monochromatic look, it isn't as nice. A lot of tights going for a natural look give a fake leg look as I mentioned before. The shimmer in these tights takes away from that, giving a natural look. She is going to use them for the Nutcracker this Christmas dancing as the doll.A great tight I also found for everyday classes that are extremely comfortable for her are the Angelina Professional-Grade Convertible Ballet Tights available on Amazon. Two things you should know about them: The tag is in front, not the back. The color that is shown, I think is misleading. I read the reviews and bought them. One important thing was the color, which worked out for my daughter. It depends on your coloring, and I would buy a tight that works best with your coloring if you are trying to go for a natural look. These tights are a tan color, but as some people said it has a hint of the pink/rose family in it. Meaning, if you have yellowish undertones in your skin, I wouldn't get the Angelina tights. My daughter that got these, some people would call her fair, but actually she really tans but has more the rose tone in her skin than say yellow. Personally, the picture they show, it seems like the model has a darker tone skin so it is hard to really see the color of the tights. All tights lighten up with washings (and they are less expensive than other brands and hands down more comfortable, but I am not going to say it tightens you up...probably why my daughter loves them so much). What I am trying to say about the color is that a girl in her class is, perhaps, Indian or something, and I noticed when she wears Ballet pink tights they just look different on her skin tone than say it would on a lighter skin tone. I am not young and never sat around analyzing people's hose, but when I go to pick her up, we are allowed to sit in the classroom and I just noticed how the ballet pink looks totally different on different skin tones. So, I think the picture with the Angelina tights can be misleading as to color. You really need to read the reviews like crazy. As I mentioned, my daughter is going to be the doll in the Nutcracker in a couple of weeks. We are using the Capezio shimmery tights for the recital, but for all the practices we are using the Angelina tights. Honestly, we might even use the Angelina tights at the last second if the other pair gets a hole or something. They do look a tad better than the Angelina ones, but I am loving those other tights. Let's put it this way, I am only going to buy the Angelina tights for now on. Price wasn't the factor, but they are cheaper. They are super comfortable for her, easy to put on, gorgeous color on her...PERFECT. I am not going to throw out her ballet pink Capezio tights or anything (which she wears with a black leotard), but it seems we are reaching for the Angelina tights all the time. She is a mature 12-year-old and still has a nice pink leotard we bought when she started, that we realize can be considered "babyish" because of the color, but the tan Angelina tight is perfect looking with it and she doesn't feel like a little kid. The one thing I will say though, my daughter is lucky to have natural tone and no fat, and she does like comfort, which when she started recreational ballet was not happy to hear that everything in ballet is tight, so she doesn't need that tightening up factor, so if you are looking for the hose to do that tightening up thing, the Angelina tights doesn't do that at all, really. But on the upside, I know some moms would probably like it because if a child or adult gets that muffin top thing, I think these would be good because it would lie more smoothly with no bulges. It all depends what you want. But the Angelina hose is definitely different from other brands we have tried because of that. She just didn't like tight tights! She was pleasantly surprised with the tan Angelina tights, so they worked out for us. Again, this is supposed to be a review of the Capezio shimmery tights, and I think they are perfect if you are looking for a natural look.Sorry for the long review on the Angelina tights. I just went to look at the color again. The first picture is the only one I looked at with the woman from the waist down. I clicked on another photo. The women sitting down with the black leotard on more accurately shows the color of the tan Angelina tights. Thanks...

Wonderful shimmery tights
I had a pair of these before but finally got snags and holes in them so ordered a replacement pair. This brand of tights are very good quality and very shimmery. The XL fit me perfectly. They are heavier denier than pantyhose so they last a bit longer. I am a male and love the way they feel and look, I like wearing them in public with shorts on walking trails etc. I'm a bit on the smaller side so a XXL might be better for a bigger person. If you're looking for very shimmery and shiny pantyhose/tights these are perfect.

Opaque Enough To Cover Veins!
This review is for ladies with varicose veins, spider veins, and dark red and blue discoloration due to poor circulation or other health issues. If you are like me and always have to wear pants because there isn't any makeup that can hide all of your leg issues, then you are going to want to try these tights! I didn't think that wearing 'nude' colored hosiery was every going to be an option for me again. I cannot even wear sheer black hosiery anymore because it doesn't cover my leg issues. These tights actually conceal ALL of the dark discoloration and veins on my legs. It's amazing! The tights are opaque, but there is a slight shimmer to them that has enough light reflection that the tights look much nicer than opaque matte tights would look. They are very appropriate to wear in the evening, but the shimmer may make them unsuitable to wear during the day. That is just my opinion though. They are not 'sparkly. The shimmer just gives a lot of 'sheen' to the tights. The color is very natural. I actually purchased 3 different brands and multiple colors to compare and these particular tights from Capezio are the most natural looking by far. I have a fair to medium skin complexion and I am wearing the Caramel color in the photo. The only issue with these is that the waistband is much smaller than average for regular women's sizes. Definitely go by the manufacturer's size chart to the left and pay close attention to the inch range for the waist. Remember, these tights are sized for dancers who are very tiny and fit. I am middle-aged with some health issues, so the waist measurements given are very, very small for the sizes. I am 5'2" tall 130 lbs. with a 34" waist. I am usually in the 4-6 or small/medium size range., but according to the manufacturer's size chart...I am an XL. I would say that is accurate for these tights because I ordered a Medium (since I am short and I didn't want extra hosiery buckling and looking ridiculous) and the Medium fits perfectly everywhere like it usually does EXCEPT for the waistband which is very tight. Hopefully that information will help you determine which size will work best for you. It is definitely worth it to me to have the waistband be tight so I can finally wear dresses to special occasions again instead of always wearing pants. Best of luck! :)

the XL fits like an L
Fit about 1-2 sizes smaller. I am 5'11" tall, and XL does NOT fit me, although I am not overweight. The waist and belly area is small and they do not stretch much. My hips are 43" around and with a maximum stretch these will fit a 41" which is the max hip size for a Large L. So, the XL fits like an L. Also, shorter than imagined. If you have LONG legs, do NOT buy. These are more like for teenage girls who do some ballet dancing. Pretty good quality, and shimmer - but will run if they break, for sure!! They are not the no-run type. Hope my review helps you if you are tall and a size L to XL. I would try a Danskin next time, in largest possible size, of some shiny tights in size Q queen.

Not The Quality I Expected
For the price of these tights, I really expected them to be of much higher quality. I’ve worn them one time for only a few hours and they already have multiple pilling areas/runs. I’m glad I purchased only one pair to give them a try before buying more, I was anticipating making these my daily wear- I’m old school and like to wear pantyhose/nylons with everything on a daily basis.I do like the color and the opaqueness.

Fantastic tights!
Really pleased with these tights! They have a wonderful lustre and the caramel colour works well for me. I did wonder if they would be a little too dark but they're just right. I'm 5' 10" and got these in XL and they are a perfect fit. The waist band is a little firm but nothing to complain about. They're very similar to a pair of Wolford Neons I had years ago but for half the price. I would definitely get these again.

Trop fragile
Pour une marque d'articles de danse, ce collant est beaucoup trop fragile.Il n'a pas tenu une soirée et s'est troué la deuxième fois que je l'ai enfilé.
