There aren't a lot of options for a shower seat that aren't either made looking like they are for elderly/handicapped or are made of wood. I didn't want our shower to look like an elderly person's shower and I didn't want to have to worry about any maintenance associated with any wood product. This item item is perfect for our shower. It is well thought out with solid but light aluminum legs (no rust) and the remainder being low maintenance and easy to clean plastics. The aluminum legs have good grippy feet on the bottom and won't slide around or scratch your shower. The plastic seat and shelf are well thought out with plenty of drainage slots so water doesn't collect but also feel solid. We keep about 10 bottles of various shampoos, etc. on the lower shelf and my wife and daughter use the seat as a foot rest to shave their legs. I like not having 10 bottles of shower items not sitting on the floor of the shower (makes it hard to clean the shower floor). The whole family is happy with it.

I've owned one of these for about 3 years. It's sturdy beyond what you would ever believe. I'm not tiny andI feel super safe with this. I generally use it as a spot to put my foot for shaving my legs and the occasional lazy shower when you're feeling under the weather. It's held up great over the years. It is easy to clean with shower cleaner and a sponge or wash cloth. It really doesn't get as yucky as other shower chairs or stools get. There's no screws to get rusty or worry about failing. The rubber feet on the bottom of the legs keep the stool in place. I just had foot surgery and needed a 2nd one for my tub/shower combo. The tub isn't that wide and most shower chairs wouldn't fit but this stool fits perfectly and it's nice to know I can trust it and it won't tip or break causing more injury.

I’m keeping it because it’s plastic, a good height, and weight limit. However it is slippery. I have used it to put my foot on in order to shave my legs. The seat is slightly curved to the center where there are drain holes for water which helps. Sitting on it is nit as comfortable as I’d hoped because the seat is a bit con-caved. The bottom shelf adds to the sturdiness and also has drain holes for the water which I like. Sits nicely in the corner of the shower.

Sturdy. Clean. Does the job needed without fear of mildew on a typical wooden stool. We looked for a long time before finding this gem. So glad we found it! We have had it few months and have no regrets.

The shower stool (Better Living Spa Seat With Shelf) arrived in perfect condition. It is fully assembled. Well packaged. Sturdy. Larger than expected. I can put my large shampoo and conditioner bottles on it, along with shower gel, razor, and room for more. See photos! I looked at these and every other shower stool ever made online everywhere. Amazon had the best price $53.23 and free 2-day shipping with Prime from UneekItems. That is a lot to spend on a stool, but it fits my needs exactly. Aluminum legs and sturdy white plastic so it will not rust! My shower floor is slanted for water to run to the drain. A four legged stool would not sit flat. As you can see in the photos, there are plenty of drain holes for water to run off the stool. Amazon is a funny place. Beware this exact same stool was also available on Amazon for over $80. Sorry my photos are loading sideways because I don't know how to fix that.

This stool does the trick in our shower. A few weeks and no signs of mold or rust. I weigh 175 and can comfortable sit or prop my leg up to shave. My only complaint is regarding the packaging... the stool arrived fully assembled but had plastic wrap over each part. Seems super unnecessary and was more annoying to remove than it would've been to assemble! Otherwise I like it.

Love this bench very much.Works well and fits perfectly in my shower and in the tub. I use it mostly to put a leg up when shaving. It’s a wonderful new addition to my daily shower. Good material. The little sheld on the bottom is definitely a plus. Great for storing products, shaving cream (for women). Great product!

You would think based on prior reviews that the seller would have corrected the shrink wrap issue. The legs are shrink wrapped prior to being attached. This makes it’s impossible to remove it all. The stool is sturdy and doesn’t look like a handicap stool. It does have a small seat so it would not be comfortable for a large person.
