Just what I needed
The hospital provided a conventional splint which fell off when wet, didn't hold the finger flatand prevented easy cleaning. I can now wash my hands and do most other things without the splint getting in the way, keep it clean and keep it flat. Brilliant. Just make sure you get the correct size ising the sizing guide on the Oval 8 site.

Very, very expensive but much better than stack splint!
Its a great idea although very expensive for what it is! I bought a size 7 for my mallet finger to use instead of the completely useless stack splint the hospital gave me! Unfortunately it doesnt hold my finger straight enough so Ive ordered a size smaller. In meantime Ive cut a small piece of plastic water pipe to wedge under one end of the splint & it seems to hold my finger in correct position!
