Not that close to original.
It's about 35% smaller than original tank. Needed to use different hose clamp as nipple was also smaller. But it will work.

Warning
This part does NOT fit a 1989 Ford ranger, the part is a quarter of the size of what it should be. Completely wasted my money when I bought this after it said it would fit. The bolt holes don’t even line up nor can you make it work.
