I had seen one of these in person once, and now that I have my own, I carry it everyday.Every pocket knife I've owned has it's own limitations depending on how broad I measure my needs to it's capabilites; this knife is no different..I understood this was not a "lightening fast" deploying knife, but one I could count on to deploy it a second or two.It's comfortable in my pocket, but I'll be molding a kydex sheath down the road for belt wear.The blade is sharp enough for it's intended purpose, it rotates out to it's open and locked position without fuss, and retracts to it's carry position just fine.I wasn't expecting this knife to open in a millisecond, or even slip back to a closed position with just barely a touch of a finger..With a defensive/emergency knife, I want it to deploy quickly and I don't worry if it takes a few seconds and maybe two hands, even, to put it back into a safe carry position..All that aside... the color stands out... which I wanted, the blade is secure and sharp, I can operate it to the open and the closed positions with one hand if I want, and it's not noticeable to me when carrying in my pants pocket, yet the loop is easy to find and hook into for deployment.

CRKT and designer Joe Caswell have done one fantastic job on this knife. I was onboard with CRKT from their beginning, and they have proven themselves one of the best, most reliable and highly cost-effective makers in the knife world. Caswell is one designer I'll be watching carefully! His Provoke is pure simplicity and also pure brilliance. CRKT then provided a very well-made, superb quality product using reasonably priced materials (several options provided, too). No doubt, the Provoke is an instant classic -- and an absolute must-have for any serious knife guy or gal.

I call this my spicy adult fidget toy! It’s so must fun and sharp as heck. Be careful until you get the hang of it. I can’t put it down!!!

Fun blade, build quality is good. Careful taking it out of pants pocket if clipped in. It catches and opens up while deploying. I guess great in a tacticool situation where you won't care about it slicing up your pocket. In any other situation slowly rock it back and forth while taking it out so it remains closed.

Really fun knife but seeing how it’s Chinese I would think it would be cheaper.

I really like this CRKT knife. It snaps into place and the release is solid. It is slightly bulky, however it fits nicely into my pocket. That leads me to the clip. It is so low profile! I love it. This is a great knife and I can easily recommend it.My own personal con is that it can only be clipped on my right side. It really can’t have the clip on the other side because the mechanism is on the other side and it protrudes too far out to keep it low profile. This is really a nit pick because I can’t think of anything else.

This karambit knife is designed perfectly. It is lightweight and has a quick deployment with just the thumb. My only issue is the blade release lock as it's very stiff but my hope is that after a few uses it'll loosen up some. Other than that it's a great edc for me. Strongly recommend this one for those that enjoy a karambit style knife.
