A Tie Worthy of the Doctor
I wore this tie to church and people commented on the colorfulness of it. When I told them it represented the scarf of the Fourth Doctor, the response was "Who?" I replied "Exactly." That was worth the price of the tie alone.Except...Even without the Dr. Who tie in the tie is worth the price. This tie is well made, there is a small hoop in the rear which holds the tail of the tie, something you do not find on too many ties nowadays. One reviewer mentioned that the tie's color palette wasn't truly represented in the picture. I may have old eyes but the tie and the picture look alike to me. The colors, to me are true.I wear a shirt with a collar size of 18 inches and the tie was large enough to reach where it is proper for a tie to reach. The material also holds a knot well, there was no slippage over the five hours I wore it on Sunday. Now only if I can find a tie that represents the seventh Doctor, Sylvestor McCoy. my favorite.

Fun for Who fans, but also appreciated by others.
Not the highest quality tie, but you do get what you pay for. It's cool and fun. I wore it to work and got compliments from those who recognized the significance (of course) and from those who thought it was just a really nice-looking tie. For "business casual" it really works great

Definitely should get it if you're a Whovian tie wearer
Love this Doctor Who tie. A little too skinny/narrow for my taste, but I get MANY compliments EVERY SINGLE TIME I wear it. Everyone thinks it's unique and fashionable.

Doctor Whatnow?
When I first saw this item, I knew I had to have it for my dad. He's as much of a Whovian as I am, and I love watching Who with him! Now I can't wait til Christmas so I can see his face when he opens it. Would have been slightly cooler if it had been a ridiculously LONG tie, but it's extremely cool as is.

Picture Not True to Color
The tie is fine as a novelty, but it was not really what I expected. First, I was disappointed that the color palette is not really the same as pictured. Whereas the picture appears primarily tan and brown, the tie is actually shades of olive green. Second, as others have noted, this is a very skinny tie ranging from about 2.25" at its widest to 1.5". This is about .5" narrower than what is currently in style. When tied, it is so narrow that it doesn't even cover the front placket of the shirt, and the back keeps edging out the sides of the front.

Very great quality. Like an actual tie quality. Love it.

Great choice for husband!
Got this for my husband. Those who know Doctor Who are likely to recognize it, while it fits in with a regular office environment. Wear with "color of mud" colors (earth tones). No problem with thinness or length, and my husband is 6 ft. tall with 19" neck.
