Man in Love (Man in Charge Book 2)

When we left book one Tess’ life was crumbling around her after finding that the man she’d recently been getting down and dirty with is engaged to her boss Kendra . Of course not everything is at it’s seems as Scotts’ domineering father is apparently behind his pending nuptials . Tess is distraught but Scott is adamant that he’s not going to get married to Kendra , when he actually tells his parents that he’s not going to go through with the marriage his father threatens to withdraw the funding and sponsorship for the DRF . Knowing that Tess is passionate about getting the funding to help people like her best friend ,Scott backs off and instead decides to whisk Tess away for a few days to stay with his paternal grandfather . His grandfather imparts words of wisdom but sadly Scott interprets them wrongly . Will there be a HEA for Tess and Scott and what is going on between Kendra & Tey ? All will be revealed in one fantastic ending .

The two were hot shizzle from the start.So, this book raises of from the cliff hanger of the engagement. It never lost its speed, suspense and HOT s€x. Tess was a treasure and I love her outtake in life and her self worth that grew thanks to Scott, so at really had me when she wouldn't settle for less.Scott, charmer that he is, as well as mouth watering really did love hard. I just needed a lot of guidance.

A fabulous conclusion to the series. I loved the characters. I loved the bond between Tess and Teyana and how in tune she was with her good and bad days and what would set off bad times. You could feel the sensitivity in the characters which makes sense after reading the acknowledgements at the end. I'd never even heard of POTS but it must be so hard to watch a loved one suffer. Will definitely read more by this author.

I didn't like Scott when I started these books but oh my now I love him these. Books are well written and a great cast of characters I absolutely loved them

I'm now going to buy the next book to find out what hea Tessa and Scott have in store. Touched on love, health and taboo issues I couldn't put these books down (except to sleep)! Brilliantly written and insightful, thoroughly enjoyable and worthy of this rating of 5+*. Thank you Laurelin for a wonderful weekend 😉

Great conclusion to this duet. Scott eventually gets what he wants. Henry gets what he deserves, and Tess achieves her goals as Kendra see the light. Money doesn’t always buy happiness but it can make those with it very cold, as this conclusion demonstrates it very well. Some curveballs, some humour and a good story well worth 5 stars.

What a great duet!Plenty to think about with so many important messages but also a light-ish naughty read to get you smiling and feeling all hot and bothered.

After reading the first book, i couldn't wait for this book to be released, and oh boy you didn't disappoint, i loved it, roll on Man for me, another wait to read about Brett. Well done Laurelyn
