Beechwood Bistro Corkscrew

Q: Does anyone know where this is made? I have one bought in the 80s in Europe, made in Italy... Would like a 2nd but not if it's Chinese.

My original one, from 1970, was French. Not sure about the current product. I bought several, gave them to friends, and they broke them. Not sure if it was a quality problem or if the counter intuitive nature of use resulted in too much force. I love this device, but it has confused people about the technique necessary to remove a cork. By the way, I still have and use my original 1970 corkscrew.
