Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Upholstered Platform Bed with Footboard and Wooden Slats, Full, Espresso

We bought this frame a few years go, and now that I am in the market for a new mattress, I am looking at the dimensions of this frame to compare to the new mattress options, to make certain it will fit, so I thought I’d leave a review;Overall, this was very well delivered and the UPS delivery person, worked very diligently to make certain we understood the box instructions as to which side was up, and as it in indeed a heavy item, he did not want to risk it getting damaged.My assumption was he has recently had some sort of incident with a similar item and a return due to its weight and fragile packaging, and that the fabric is easily damaged in transit, and this wasn’t going to happen again.As I also recall, He was right, there wasn’t a lot of protection around the faux leather/vinyl material within the cardboard and he was looking out for us. So , beware of that. And props to our neighborhood delivery driver . He went above and beyond to help us get this very heavy item inside our breezeway, but we were also on good terms with him, so that might have been a factor in our favor.As assembly and installation, that’s up to you own level of following instructions, and patience. And we are all differently built in our level of patience and calm, aren’t we?Have a well lit room, with a good helper and make sure you aren’t using that screw instead of the one that just a bit shorter. And there is no need to rush.It’s also a good time to vacuum or mop whenever you install a new mattress bed frame and may wash your curtains, but you knew that, didn’t you?What I will say is that after having this a few years, is that you need to check that middle bar underneath and check it periodically. Make sure it is level, or perpendicular -rather. We find ours gets unhinged sometimes. This middle under bar needs to be re-aligned and the entire frame might actually need to be completely flipped over and this center bar may need to be re-tightened from its slip point. This is something another reviewer mentioned as well, but I would consider ours a over time occurrence of weight and then Ed moving about on a very slick wooden floor every time the sheets are changed and when we get our storage bags out from under it.Otherwise this has been a very nice bed frame for the price. With seasonal and or periodic/monthly maintenance on the hardware, we have found it to remain more durable than we originally anticipated.Also, our cats have never used it as a scratch board, which was astonishing to us, so that was another worry we had before purchasing and it did not appeal to them, for some reason.

THIS PLATFORM BED IS AWESOME!!!!!!! after getting rid of our very loud expensive oak bed frame the search was on! After reading some reviews I decided on this one. Man am I glad I did. VERY easy to put together just read the instructions. Took about 45 min maybe an hour. Packed VERY well. I even thought at first after seeing it that NO way will this be solid! but to my surprise after put fully together its VERY SOLID and VERY quiet!! You animals know what I mean trust me ITS QUIET. I would definitely recommend this product! GREAT PRICE easy install VERY SOLID. The only small thing I do not like is it could be a little taller , right now I couldnt see it even fitting a suit case sideways. Hey I dont care because its SOLID and again QUIET!! I am 6,2 210 and Wife is 5,8 165 holds weight just fine. I see other reviews where people are saying there is a combined 5 to 600 lbs and its still quiet and now I believe it. Look no further this is the one your looking for!! Hope this helps!

This is an early review based on one night of sleeping in the bed. If anything changes I will update.ASSEMBLYEverything needed for assembly came packaged and labeled as appropriate. Assembly took me 30 minutes. Very few loose parts, and went together without a hitch.FIRST IMPRESSIONSI am a big dude, about 300 lbs and the bed looked a little, not flimsy, but not super hardy either. However, the metal frame certainly adds to the stability and strength of the frame.SITTING/SLEEPINGSitting on the bed fully assembled for the first relieved all of my fears - this bed is sturdy. I moved around, bounced lightly, rolled back and forth, etc., and never felt anything but confidence that the bed could take it. My wife and I had a good nights rest and noticed no squeaking, creaking, cracking, etc. The bed performed admirably and we slept soundly.RECOMMENDATIONIf you are considering this frame then my recommendation, based on limited usage, of course, is to get it! We love it so far.I will update this review if anything changes.

Just received today and spent an hour and 15 minutes putting together. It arrived in perfect shape and was so easy to figure out how to put together that I only looked at the instructions once. It's larger than I was expecting (full size), but since there were no dimensions listed anywhere, I had to estimate. The worst thing about putting this together was having to use an Allen wrench that you can only turn about halfway before having to realign, so definitely recommend going and getting a ratchet style screwdriver with an Allen wrench tip. I haven't had a chance to sleep on it yet, but laying on it feels sturdy.The dimensions (in case anyone else needs to know) are 83" long (211 cm), 56" wide at the headboard (142.5 cm), 54" wide at the footboard (137.5 cm), 45" tall at the headboard (114.5 cm), 14" in the middle with a little under 8" clearance underneath (36 cm, 20.5 cm), 24" tall with 10" mattress (61 cm, 25.5 cm), and 21" tall at the footboard (53.5 cm) with the mattress sticking up above the footboard by 3.5" (9 cm).I'll try to remember to update in a few months. So far though, this seems like an amazing bed for the price.
