Something that works for aging skin.
I’ve used a lot of products in my 58+ years. This product works. You can feel the skin become firmer and see lines diminish. It’s not a face lift, only temporary results are seen. But, I’ve had people comment on my completion.

Great results
I used the product and after a few weeks I actually had friends ask me what I used on my face. When I told them they all said they would order some as well. And they did !!!! We are all happy with the results!!!

Long list of ingedients, three of which are of concern. I have not seen any sort of change in my skin after using the serum
The serum is light and is absorbed readily into the skin. There is a slight citrus like scent which I stop noticing soon after applying the serum. The only problem that I have had with the serum is that it can irritate my eyes if I accidently apply the serum within 1/2 inch of my eyes.In terms of results, I have been using the serum for a few weeks now and applying it in the morning and at night. I havent seen any dramatic differences since I started applying the serum.DeliveryThe serum comes in a small vile of clear frosted glass. I am surprised that the vile is clear as light breaks oxidizes vitamin C. There is a medicine dropper that comes with the serum that is used to extract the serum so that you can apply it to your face.IngredientsThere are a number of ingredients in the serum (see the list below) with three of concern. There is copper for which there are moderate concerns about organ system toxicity when used in cosmetics. There is Tocopheryl Acetate for which there is strong evidence that it is a human skin toxicant or allergen. There is also Eugenia caryophyllata (clove) bud oil which is a known human immune system toxicant or allergen according the EU.The fifth ingredient on the ingredient list is a proprietary one which always makes me a bit worried. The ingredient is listed as Berrimatrix which is described by one source as a proprietary ingredient developed by Airelle. Berrimatrix is supposed to help protect the skin’s texture and to help prevent the breakdown of collagen resulting from environmental damage caused by the sun’s harmful UV and Infrared rays. Another source describes Berrimatrix as a proprietary formulation of deeply concentrated blueberry extract with 5X higher antioxidant levels than average blueberry extracts. Berrimatrix is supposed to help minimize, slow and, in some cases, reverse the signs of aging on the skin. Yet another source writes that because it helps protect against collagen breakdown before the first signs of skin aging begin to appear, Berrimatrix may help both women and men alike prevent wrinkles and fine lines from forming, helping reduce the need for, and cost of, corrective aesthetic procedures in the future. So, different sources report different supposed benefits. The ingredient list includes:- Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice - strong evidence of cancer if not decolorized - National Toxicology Program- Chondrus cripus extract - extracted from Irish moss - used for skin conditioning, viscosity controlling - low hazard- Hydrolyzed chondrus extract - extracted from Irish moss - some report it is pore clogging- Sodium hyaluronate (salt form of hyaluronic acid) - maintains moisture resulting in smoother skin with decreased wrinkles. But, too much (more than 4% in the solution) sodium hyaluronate will pull moisture out of the skin.- Berrimatrix- Witch Hazel Distillate - potent antioxidant properties and some soothing properties. Contains either alcohol or tannins from the distillation- Water- Glycerin - attracts water - seals the water into the skin - but if the humidity in the air is less than 60% it is said that glycerin will pull water out of the skin- Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 - Another proprietary ingredient, this one an A peptide manufactured by Lucas Meyer Cosmetics. The manufacturer claims that the ingredient reduces the appearance of wrinkles, but no independent result is reported.- Polymethylsilsesquioxane - a silicone ingredient used as a film former that creates a smooth, silky feel. It is considered safe.- Linum Usitatissimyn (linseed) seed extract - skin conditioner with a low hazard rating- Leptospermym scoparium (Manuka Honey) extract - from Manuka honey collected in New Zealand, the honey has antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties- L-Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - antioxidant that is low risk- Sodium citrate - used to adjust the acidity of the product - considered safe- Copper Gluconate - this is basically copper which is used as an unproven anti-aging ingredient - moderate concerns about organ system toxicity according to the EPA and Environment Canada Domestic Substance List- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) - a form of vitamin E, a natural skin-conditioning agent and antioxidant - there is strong evidence that Tocopheryl Acetate is a Human skin toxicant or allergen. It is also suspected to be an environmental toxin and be persistent or bioaccumulative according to Environment Canada Domestic Substance ListLysolecithin - an emulsifying agent with low hazardSclerotium gum - an emulsion stabilizer with low hazardXanthan gum - a binder, emulsion stabilizer, emulsifying surfactant, as well as an aqueous viscosity increasing agent with low hazardPullulan - adhesiveCaprylhydroxamic acid - preservative and broad spectrum anti-fungal agent with low hazardCaprylyl glycol - skin conditioning agent with low hazardGlycerinEugenia caryophyllata (clove) bud oil - a volatile oil. This oil is a known human immune system toxicant or allergen according the EU.Mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf oil - low hazardOverall, I am disappointed in the results and the ingredient list. While the serum is easy to apply, I have found it to irritate my eyes and I have not seen dramatic results.

Quality ingredients but too expensive
This serum is hydrating and absorbs/dries rapidly. It has a mild pleasant scent. Although moisturizing in the short term, I have not noticed any long term noticeable changes in my skin with its use, with noticeable being the key word. The ingredients are good and are well thought out to keep your skin balanced and hydrated, but bear in mind, without things like retinol, long-term impact to wrinkles and fine lines is likely to be minimal. The hyaluronic acid is a fantastic ingredient for skin hydration and it does reduce the appearance on fine lines with continued use, by plumping the skin and helping it hold onto its moisture, but my wrinkles are getting a bit more deep and so I require a more assistance with plumping than say a woman in her 30's might.Overall, this serum contain many fantastic ingredients, but its no miracle worker. At this price, I can't recommend it (it's not even a full ounce!).
