Slim & convenient
The Snappy replaced some ugly and space-consuming plumbing beneath my kitchen sink. I now have more space for a waste bin.

Easiest plumbing job ever
I used to hate everything related to plumbing. I tried to do it all by myself and buying all the pieces. I always had to go back to the store because 1 piece was not the right size and don't get me started on the leaking issues. My life changed when I bought this product, it took me 10 minutes to install. No leaks, easy breezy. Best purchase I made in a long time! Would recommend to anybody, worth the price!!

Quick and Easy
I had to replace my kitchen sink and wanted an easier way to route the plumbing. I came across this product on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. It was easy to install and shorten the drain lines. The kit had everything I needed. No leaks and even had some spare parts left over. Much more room under the sink now. Highly recommend.

Terrible instructions, doesn't seem like secure connections
I appreciate their video tutorials but they are very generic and don't address issues one may encounter.I ended up having to go to Lowes for advice and realized whoever installed the drain under my kitchen sink used a 2" pipe leading to the p-trap. I figured there was some sort of reducer I could easily find but it turns out there wasn't. I was instructed to cut the 2" threaded end and would have to use a combination of adapters to get it down to a 1.5"I ended up buying the whole standard kit because I figured I wouldn't be able to install the snappy trap with the configuration I had. After watching their videos multiple times, I realized I could use the rubber adapter to attach the 1.5" to the 2" - no thanks to the video but to my outside the box thinking - wink wink LOLOne thing that I don't like about this is that it seems the connections can slip apart quite easily. Screwing them on doesn't tighten the grip. For now they are staying in place and I have no leaks but I worry that we'll bump something under the sink and the joints will dislocate. I really don't think they are very secure. For now I'll give it a 4 star because It's working and because I didn't find the videos too helpful but I will update my review if I end up with issues in the future. As far as cost, the standard kit including the joint glue was much cheaper than this kit and probably would have been just as easy to install if not easier.

SAVE MONEY AND AT LEAST TWO TRIPS TO THE HARDWARE STORE
Snappy Trap 1 1/2" Drain Kit for Double Kitchen Sinks This is my second purchase of the Snappy Trap Drain Kit for Double Sinks. When I sat down in front of my new sink with my Snappy trap in hand I smiled. Normally I hate this job--going to the hardware store and buying an assortment of drain parts and washers and getting out all my plumbing tools, and wondering how may more trips to the hardware store I will have to make before I finish this job and thinking about how bad my back was going to hurt before this project was finished. But today was going to be different. I finally had the right equipment fo the job. I got under the sink after I had installed the disposer on one sink and the drain and basket in the other sink, I twisted the garbage disposal at the angle I needed and then put the Snappy trap under the sink and put the trap part into the plumbing outlet in the wall and then moved the two ends that go to the disposal and the other sink until I could see the best way to run the flexible lines. One was a perfect length the other was a little too long so I marked the hose and took out the trap, unscrewed the flexible hose from its connector and easily shortened the hose with a razor knife and replaced the connector, They I went back under the sink and put the trap part back on the wall outlet, bent the flexible line as needed (very easy to do), screwed one line to the disposal and the other to the other sink, and tightened the plastic nuts . Then I checked for leaks and WOW--I was done!! No more cutting hard plastic with a saw, no more extra trips to get a longer part or return all the parts you didn't need.ADVANTAGES: 1.) TIME SAVER There is only one line to connect instead of 6 or 7 ;pieces that have to be turned and shortened or maybe the one you bought is too short and back to the store you go for a longer one. There are only three joints to connect--one at the wall, and one at each sink instead of one at the wall, two at the trap, one at each sink, two where the lines come together etc etc etc. (You've all done this--you know what I mean) AND of course you can have a leak in any or all of these places. 2.)CONVENIENCE You get all the parts you need in the kit so you don't have to go to the big box store and hope they have all the parts and connectors you will need and hope you get all of them on the first trip (Yeh right!!) You don't need a saw to shorten the connectors. Very easy to shorten the flex lines and bend them to fit perfectly in any drain and sink configurations. 3)NO LINE BLOCKAGES The Snappy trap has no place for food or debris to build up inside the lines. Inside the pipe is a perfectly smooth inside--even in the flexible parts of the line, 4.)LESS LIKELY TO LEAK The flexible line make it possible to take any stress that you sometimes get with the old system when the lines you put in don't exactly come together perfectly making a potential leak place. The washers in the connectors are a soft rubber and seal better than the stiff washers from the old method. 5.) MORE ROOM UNDER THE SINK The flexible lines make it easy to tuck the lines up closer to the sink and to the back of the cabinet to a garbage container and kitchen chemicals will fit easier under the sinks.DISADVANTAGES You will have to find something to do with that extra time that you scheduled for this project--like watching a football game or playing with your kids.I highly recommend this piece of genius equipment as you have probably guessed by now. They have thought of everything!!!! Snappy Trap 1 1/2" Drain Kit for Double Kitchen Sinks
