Sony you definitely put some thought into this system and lot more gusto. This is so power with so much feature even the instruction is self explanatory. What can be worse with Sony when they know what they are doing and listening to the customers and package all into a bundle. You can adjust low, med and high on the MIC while calling from both side talking and listening. Pretty cool. Plus the MEGA Bass it adds 2 mega basses. Then you can adjust the equalizer on a downloaded app. I want to cautious you according the the bluetooth feature you "cannot" use the equalizer on that feature....ONLY on USB, hard wired attachment due to the fact it MUST be used on a equalizer on your phone and you can adjust to your liking. If you can't adjust it on your pre-installed music on your phone, then download an equalizer on the Google APP store, for free or I RECOMMEND PowerAMP, don't be cheap people its only $2.99 to get this great equalizer and watch what happens to your car talking being in a "sound proof music" AMAZING. Remember, I must tell you something else, it also depends on the music that you downloaded as well, because something music is louder than others, but you can use the volume for that.

This can't be beat for the price. Good sound, good controls, easy install. I was specifically looking for a cheaper deck to replace an older, far more expensive one. I didn't want navigation or DVD capability AT ALL. No touch screen. No volume button the size of a pin head. No ridiculous hoops to jump through for the simplest operations (while driving).This deck was perfect, and extremely affordable, so it was a very quick and easy replacement. Only complaints are that it could have just a bit more power, and the display gets pretty dim in bright daylight. Other than that it's fantastic and an extreme value buy.One note - the bluetooth on this deck works better than the $700 Kenwood it replaced. Far better.

I purchased this item to install in a 2014 Jeep Compass. The unit itself has a variety of features, moreso than Jeep's own Uconnect units (such as the one in a family member's 2017 Grand Cherokee). NFC pairs flawlessly with my Sony Xperia L1, and the connection remains solid throughout each drive.I love how easy it is to navigate system menus. It takes only a few seconds to change certain settings, such as the display brightness and colors. Since my Jeep did not have an accessory wire, the unit can be powered off by holding the SOURCE button for three seconds. If I don't wish to use it, I have the flexibility to just keep it turned off.I mounted the supplied microphone behind the steering wheel, and its quality is decent. If you want better quality, your best bet is to buy a better microphone which connects to the input jack. The display has been scratched up a little but remains legible. The firmware has crashed/reset a few times due to certain Bluetooth glitches that my phone has been to blame for, but again, reconfiguring the unit only takes a few minutes.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and intend to keep the unit inside my vehicle for a few years. After that, I may upgrade to a more expensive one or put the Uconnect model back in.

This is a great radio for a great value. I was worried initially because every few days all my presets disappeared and the radio defaulted to demo mode. I did a little reading and found out that if you run the firmware update, that problem goes away. I followed the steps and sure enough it's been great ever since. I will say that I'm fairly comfortable/competent with technology so if you aren't, you may want to get your techie friend to help you update your firmware. Overall though, it works really great. The bluetooth connection and microphone for phone calls is clear and easy to use.

This would be a great head unit, if it didn’t constantly reset itself after only a year of use, started to reset about 6 months ago and it’s gotten progressively worse to a point that when I start my car there’s a 50% chance it’ll reset itself, now when I say reset I mean it resets EVERYTHING, your Bluetooth will no longer pair and requires your phone to be paired again, all your sound adjustments will be gone which gets annoying pretty quickly when you have a subwoofer setup connected to it like I do, and to top it all off it’ll go into its seizure inducing demo mode, not to mention that it’s even reset itself while I was driving, definitely a bit distracting not to mention dangerous when you have a literal strobe light suddenly coming out of your head unit in the middle of the night going 80 down the road. The third most annoying aspect of this head unit is that it asks you to open its app every time you start your car and it won’t even let you adjust the volume until you hit the back button to dismiss the message. When the resetting issue first started happening I figured that my cars battery was just done, but after a brand new battery, new alternator and even a battery maintainer this thing resets even more then it did before I did all that work. Bottom line stay away from this junk and buy something from a more reputable brand because most things from Sony these days have gone to garbage.

This seller is trying to justify myself that he sold an incomplete item correctly, moreover, he harassed me with his messages that I blamed me, and he misleads me that I can buy something at a lower price and it will be ok, radio ok but without collar frame sorrrrry

Este estereo como digo en el titulo esta bien en lo básico que se le puede pedir a un aparato de música para el coche, que tenga CD, radio, usb, bluetooth, buen sonido, conexión con el celular, volumen de subwoofer independiente, bastantes opciones de configurar un buen sonido.

Great head unit. Inexpensive compared to other brands(alpine clarion)and works great! Easy to install on my 2007 Dodge Ram

Nice product from Sony. Seperate control for Sub Woofer which makes the bass awsome. Make sure you use Sony Swoofer. The output is really out of the world. Can not run movie dvd format. Otherwise a great system. Try not to use the app, better to directly control on the system. Make sure the bluetooth jack is connected to the red colour bluetooth input at the backside. If connected wrongly then the buttons would not respond

Good product but little costly.
