I didn't realize that these we a hard plastic when ordering them. But they worked well at the wedding venue for my niece's wedding. One of the rings on top was split open. Went ahead and used them because it couldn't be seen. Very nice for the price.

My hanging flower baskets were decimated by our recent heatwave and I needed something attractive on the deck in a hurry to replace the plants for an upcoming party. These lanterns are exactly what I needed. They are lit by a flameless, flickering candle that can be turned off or on or lit on a timer. They are bigger than some others I looked at and are powered by AAA batteries that are easily replaced as opposed to solar powered batteries. The price point was excellent. I have no idea how they would hold up in severe weather but for me that isn't an issue as I will simply bring them indoors when the weather is extreme or even inclement. I recommend these lanterns.

These are plastic and therefore light weight. Not suitable for outdoors when windy. Otherwise very attractive

Really pretty overall! It looks just like the pictures and it's pretty decent quality for the price.The handle thing did break on one of them when I was screwing it in but it was an easy enough fix with some super glue.The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of five is the lights. The lights flicker which is totally fine, but the flicker pattern is pretty bad. It's like a strobe light but dim. Im using these as centerpieces for my wedding and the flickering would literally hurt people's eyes and give them a headache (tested with 3 different people and all said similar things). I ended up removing the lightbulb and internals for that and put fairy lights in instead which look very nice.I can't speak to how theyd work as an outdoor decoration where it wouldn't be too close to people's faces. They are very pretty so maybe it would work at a distance.They did not come with batteries. I don't know if they're supposed to (I've read mixed reviews) but just an FYI.

I purchased these to use for the 2 Lights 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride. They’re battery operated and have a timer. They look beautiful at night. I recommend.

This is cheap garbage. I thought I was getting a deal on it (discounted at $30 vs $60) but it's worth much less. I hung them over my front deck. The next morning one had fallen and the thin, cheap plastic housing had broken into pieces. The ring, which was very thin, had split. I could see on my doorbell camera that it fell because the ring broke, no wind and no one messing with it. It's probably fine to use if you're not hanging it, but you could still get the same low quality much cheaper.

Absolutely love these! I have them all over my lanai & they give off a really nice soft glow. They don’t have a cheap look to them. I definitely was impressed.
