I'm someone who tries to get by on more budget-friendly items, but after sitting in this I immediately regretted not shelling out on it sooner. I felt instant relief and support from both underneath and behind and at once I realized how little support my $150 ergonomic office chair had actually been providing these past several years. The arm design here is also outstanding (particularly the degrees of freedom and the way it fits nicely under desks) and something that one can only fully appreciate when comparing a chair like this to a more standard model. Please do yourself a favor and just get this..I can only imagine how much better it will be for your long-term health and comfort.

This is the best chair I ever owner. The chair seat is very firm and you can almost change anything on this chair to customize to your needs

A very strong and sturdy chair. My previous chair was more comfortable, but it began to deteriorate after a few years. I need a chair that will hold the height I set for the entire day. Assembly was easy and quick. I'm very pleased with the Steelcase product. I tried to make my rating 4.5 but couldn't.I received no instructions on how to register for the warranty. When I contacted Steelcase, they wanted my credit card information and charge it $55 just to answer my question about registering for the warranty. That's outrageous! Great chair, terrible customer service. I can't imagine what I would have to go through to register a claim.

Used this one to replace a cheaper one bought at a large retail store. This one offer more back support.

I got this chair used for a small fraction of the retail price. For the $260 I paid for it, I'm happy with my purchase. But there is no way I would pay whatever ungodly corporate rip-off price they're asking for this chair new.It's a solid, but quite basic, chair. For what they're asking, you would expect some sort of unique experience as they promise in the $1,000+ models. But you won't find that. What you'll get is a pretty standard chair with good adjustability. That's all.The reason you'll still buy this one is because you can't afford $1,000+ and you're afraid to roll the dice with a no-name brand. Even if this chair isn't exactly exciting, at least you know what you're getting and there will be no surprises.But surely a comparable chair can be found for half the price of this one. Or do like I did and scavenge for a cheap used one. It almost never makes sense to buy new furniture because the resale value of furniture in general is horrible.

Very happy with this desk chair. It's stylish and comfortable, perfect for my petite frame (5'3"). It is adjustable, so could also accommodate taller / bigger people. Lumbar support hits the right spot in my lower back. Light pink cushion looks cute in my home office, pairs well with light wood and dark electronics. Mesh seat back is breathable and slightly stretchy, feels fine. I can lean back with no risk of tipping over, seat is well balanced and properly weighted.

really this is a Steel Case..? is so uncomfortable in my opinionarm rests are so hard...back support...way too low does not cover the top areaJust assembled...which i could give it back right now

Dislikes:1. Box arrived open2. Box arrived covered in layers of dirt/dust/filth3. Chair was covered in thin piece of paper, arm rest covered in additional thin paper, gas cylinder in a smaller separate box...all four pieces were free to move around the big box unsecured crushing/smashing into each other the entire way.4. Box arrived late (especially since I had to pay an additional shipping rate, despite having Prime Membership).5. Little to no instructions of how to assembly and use chair. Does not specify what 1 vs. 1a is nor what 1 b is? on the assembly kit. No instructions on use of chair.Likes:1. Once cleaned off using many, many wipes and other sanitizing things...the chair is easy to put together.2. Chair is initially comfortable and seems supportive.Considering that I am paying over $500 (plus an additional delivery fee) for this chair...they should have better wrapped/insulated the individual pieces so that it did not move/rattle the entire way within the delivery box (it's no wonder it arrived open). Nor should it be covered in heavy layers of dirt. The chair itself seems decent, seems supportive, seems comfortable and easy-ish to put together...can't say I recommend buying it on here though.Will revise post if anything changes and after utilizing the chair over a longer period of time.
