This copper wire is very pliable and soft. I just this as practice wire; before I make anything in silver, I make a prototype with this wire.

My husband uses this as the base wire for a lot of his wire wrapped crystal pendants. It has good strength and flexibility making it easy to work with but allowing the works to be durable. It does tarnish a bit with wear but not in an unattractive manner and I've had no issues with skin sensitivity to the wire.

This wire is absolutely wonderful! It met all of my jewelry making needs. I will definitely be purchasing again, that's for sure! This wire is bare tho, so if you need coated wire that doesn't tarnish then this is not what you want. But if you are planning to LOS whatever you make with this than it is perfect!

This spool of copper wire is very small. I have purchased 160' packages of 20g copper wire at Home Depot several times in the past. I thought since this was considerably less money and only 3' (supposedly) shorter that I would try it. But I guess you really do get what you pay for. There is waaaay less wire here than in the Home Depot "Ook" package. I'm not going to unravel this spool to measure it, but I'm pretty sure it's nowhere near 157'.
