FolkArt One Stroke Palette, 1001, Green

I got this as a Christmas present for a friend who paints. She doesn't like the usual palettes because they don't have big enough spaces for when she's using a lot of a single mixed color. She usually ends up using a paper plate. I thought this would be perfect. It mostly is; my only complaint is that the pictures shown hide the fact that there's a quarter (or bigger) sized hole right in the middle of the dish space. I had hoped she could just not bother with the plates and wash it when she was done, but you do need the plates if you want to use the main space. Not a huge issue; I just hit the grocery store and grabbed the 9" foam plates. It's still very nice to hold and seems convenient. The brush holders are useful up until you actually use the brushes, and then they're stupid; the paint would just run down them and all over the place. But for overall use, this is the best option I've seen for what was needed.

Good quality palette for painting. Feels good holding it in your hand and sturdy. Will last a long time.

Don’t do One Stroke? Don’t need to. If you paint, you need this palette. It’s so convenient & easy to use, makes cleanup a breeze too; pop in a styrofoam plate when you begin, then pop the plate out when you’re done-doesn’t get any easier than that. The wells around the outside come in super handy for colors you may be using a lot of or painting medium. I have two and use them every time I paint a wall, canvas or whatever else I’m painting.

This is a fabulous pallet, it is so lightweight and well designed. It allows you to place your thumb in two different positions, nice large (but not too large) area, and allows you to use 9" disposable plates where you can mix your paints. The light green color is pleasant too. I just love it! Highly recommended.

I have had one of these for years and always used it but it turned up missing one day so I had to purchase a new one. The new on is as good as the old one and is solid built and cleans up easily.

I use this for water based oils and love it. I used to use the tear of palette sheets but I feel this is even more convenient. I tend to use a lot of brushes and am short on space, so having some extra brush holders is a plus. The hand grip is comfortable, and it's also stable to sit on my workspace. I'm not a fan of styrofoam, so I use the coated paper plates and they work perfectly. The extra large (10+") plates are too big, so get the slightly smaller ones.I feel I can now stop looking for the perfect palette, I love this and have gotten a lot of use from it already. A real bargain!
